Yes, BCgirl1, that was the notice, but it has been modified/edited. What you provided was not the original post that I saw. Decoy24601, I know the difference between the "posted date" of the notice and a specific paragraph/section that detailed which applications would be considered in the mix for the special initiative, and the subsequent "cutoff date." There was a short paragraph (maybe two or three sentences) that specifically stated that applications received before June 13th would be "fast tracked" to deal with the backlog, provided the applications were straightforward. I'm not an idiot; editing is part of what I do for a living, so I'm prone to noticing even the slightest of things, and I know what I saw, but it seems to be inconsequential at this point, since the notice has been modified. It seems to have been changed quite quickly, which may mean that the original notice was posted before it was checked carefully by higher powers, or else they had second thoughts and didn't want to advertise a cut off date, to save a plethora of phone calls and frustrated people.

Anyhow, I'm not here to argue. Congrats to all who have received their AOR1's and SA's. Enjoy the ride.

The fact that the notice has been modified, which I pointed out, seems to have been missed in your response to my comment, which caused me to infer your implication of ignorance.

My 43 days for SA is over and I will be calling them on Monday to ask the process situation.
I am just afraid and wondering if CAll centre agent is not helpful what I should do?
As I have read many people experiencing same unhelpful situation from call centre.

All you can do is wait, if the agent isn't helpful. And call them once a week if the wait is difficult. I was planning that but then the next day I got word I got sa.

I was just told.. two of my friends who applied last week april (about 28 th and 29th) ... Got their sponsor approval just four five days ago.. and their file has transferred to New Delhi Visa office

I'm in the same boat. May 20th applicant and haven't heard anything yet. Wait until you've hit day 43 and you can call CIC and inquire about your application status. Some people don't receive AOR1 and only hear something once they've gotten SA.

No worries. A lot of people cannot access it. I am also close to getting SA but still cannot access sponsors side of ecas. Just wait and everything going to be good.

I can't access my ECAS in Sponsor's side. But PA's side already have 2 lines. AOR1 since June 16, 2016. No SA yet.

Applications has been received on May 27, 2016.
Medical results has been received.

They just update it today 'coz when I checked it yesterday, it only has one line.

Hoping and praying to get my SA soooon. *finger crossed*

That's seems to be the norm. I got SA last week and I also can't access the sponsor side of eCAS.
But if you already got SA, you probably no longer need to check the "sponsor" side.
After SA, you need to wait for AOR2 and then the application just focuses on the applicant.

What are the things the doctor will give us once its over? and how do we use that same medical for visit visa purposes if my husband wants to apply for visit visa in the future (within a few months?)

can anyone also tell me if RPRF is paid if the amount paid initially to CIC was 1,040.00. I am asking because I was not the one who paid that amount, a family member paid it. I just got the receipt but it doesn't say on the receipt what was actually paid for. I am wondering if this RPRF was paid or not. Anyone know? I can ask the person that paid but right now they are asleep!

Same here... I could see the same two lines on PA side.... Application received on MAY 27th 2016 & Medical results have been received.

Can't access from sponsor side

Though you advised that ECAS might be accessible starting tuesday....but good thing is its there on Monday itself

so your saying the RPRF has already been paid for by the looks of it? I had submitted this receipt along with the application. What about using the medical for visit visa. Any idea about that?
