Hey NYC2CANADA, that sounds like very good news. If it is anything like the Decision Made status in the sponsorship stage for most of us you should expect an email with the decision within a few days. Very unlikely the decision is no unless you have received a lot of vibes already in a negative way.

NYC2CANADA, congrats! It looks like they've made a positive decision. If Ottawa does not request any further information (or passport request, etc.) via email, then you will receive your COPR in the mail. CIC does not email COPRs.

OK guys, Last monday I received an email saying that they will waive my native country Criminal records request... ( it was a pain to get it). so I was thinking they will take time..... today I login into the CIC and have the Desicion Made, but there is no email or any other information about what desicion was made.. any inside. what to expect? please!!!!

Congratulations, NYC2CANADA! My wife and I live in NY state as well. Did you receive the DM of your PR application or the DM of your sponsorship approval?

I hope mine would be soon since my application was on May 19.

I received the DM for the SA back in July ( i sent my application on May 6th). Last week The status was In process..... today it changes to DM... I guess is for the PR

I'm feeling very disheartened... There's a handful of us that have not gone into process (VO Ottawa) along with many back in August, and it looks as those people are starting to get DM.

I know the feeling -- I'm an April applicant and still stuck at Application Rec'd. Ordered a copy of our notes and other than passing the medical, nothing has been done to our application at all. Very frustrating when you see others getting DM and they applied after you.

Some Ottawa applicants have received their COPR only a couple of days after seeing DM in ECAS, and others have received theirs a couple of weeks after. Keep us posted! You're almost done!

i dont know about other visa offices but london visa office is on fast track these days.one of my friend april applecent his file is open know so hope in the end of october good news for us.

I sent an inquiry to the Paris VO yesterday asking what DM meant since I never heard from then in the entire process and it had been 5 days since DM... They responded and said my CoRP was mailed out last Friday!

I just got an email from Warsaw asking for pre-paid courier services Cheesy It also say: Your confirmation of permanent residence is valid until March, 2016'. So I know for 100% now that it all worked!!!
I am SO happy, going home from work to tell the news to my wife! She will be very, very happy to hear it too Smiley

BTW it took only 85 days since SA and our application was processed in Warsaw for 63 days only Smiley

If what I think is true. I should received my COPR soon. I am us Citizen moving to Canada. In the US i live near buffalo. I have a question. Can I do the "landing" then do the move? with my belongings?

Also, any ideas if with the COPR i can begin to look for jobs in Toronto? or I need to wait for the PR....

I'll answer the second question, which I quoted. You can use your original COPR with US passport to get a Social Insurance Number (SIN) when applying in person in Toronto at any Service Canada Centre. With a SIN you can work immediately. So it is up to you the timing for applying for jobs knowing you will be able to get a SIN on the first business day after you arrive in Canada.

I have another question, are your progress dates under your username with MM-DD-YYYY format or DD-MM-YYYY format? I guess the first two are DD-MM-YYYY and the last one (Med) is MM-DD-YYYY, right?
