I'm not the originator, but I've automated a lot of it to make it less work to update (such as the auto colouring when you fill in fields, or the summary tables and chart). At first, I was just leaving a lot of comments and finally the owner just gave me permission to edit everything.

We are all in this together, so I'm here to help. Plus, it keeps me occupied and not thinking about the gaping hole in my heart.

Maplson, if you have the permission to edit everything in the 2015 Outland Spreadsheet, could you please change something for me?
I sent my application on the 6th of May, but it was received in CPC per a courier only on the 15th of May. The spreadsheet says that they received it on the 6th of May, which is not true and it gives me (and the others) wrong information about processing time of my application.

I'll be very thankful for your help.

I sent my package on the 6th of May and there was no changes on the web with the IMM0008 for sure. The problem is that they received my package in CPC on the 15th of May. I hope that it's gonna be fine and that they will not return my application.

Sent my application to CPC via UPS on May 20,2015 and it was delivered and recieved on May 21,2015.
Used the Generic application form updated February 2015. Just discovered the updated April 2015 form after I sent my apps. Hope and pray they will not return my apps just because I did use the updated form.

Goodluck to all of us.

Welcome to the waiting game!

Thanks, Ineffable! :) I'm prepared for a huge wait - I'm not even going to bother looking at the CIC website for a couple of months because I know it'll drive me nuts!

Has anyone received the email with their AOR?

I'm hoping to hear something in the next few days.

The 2015 outland spreadsheet is showing that AORs are taking between 20-30 days over the last two months.

I've never checked my spam folder more than in this past week. :D

This is my group :D

My application was sent yesterday.
My husband is American. I'm hoping it will not be as long as the website posted times.

Some april applicants are already receiving their SA, so it looks like CIC on the rails again.
:D

The only difference I find from Feb IMM0008 Document to April updated one is in the Disclosure

Check eCAS using your UCI number and see if they opened your file (UCI number from original immigration landing paper)

Application received through courier: 30 April, 2015
AOR email: NONE

Checked eCAS today randomly:
File received: 28 April, 2015
Started processing: 20 May, 2015

How can they receive my file before it has even been couriered?!

Magic?

No, really. I have no idea. Could have just been a poor estimation or confusion with someone else's application that came before yours?

For those of us who don't have an existing UCI number, we'll get that with the AOR, correct? What happens if we don't get an AOR like rambopg? Is there a way to inquire about that?

Welcome! I'm an American waiting for PR like your husband. Let's hope Ottawa is picking up steam.

Maaaahgic *jazz hands*

Just kidding. I read on another thread that ECAS is updated manually so perhaps it's a typo? It happens. But I'm glad to see that it's being processed! :D That means you should be getting something soon :)

With your AOR you may or may not get the UCI but you should receive the file number (F00.......etc.) if you havnt already.

If no UCI has been issued the Sponsor wil getl the sponsors UCI when SA is accepted and received. I never did see my wife's (applicant's...they are different) UCI until I had ordered the GCMS notes.

Chris.

Our Outland application arrived in Mississauga on May 8th, confirmed by Canada post. My question is are the wait times listed on CIC including the time our application is not opened, but still arrived at their office? Or, does the wait time start only after they open it? I called the call center and an agent just told me it will sit in storage for a few months before they open it and then I will receive a UCI to track the status. But, I need clarification on whether or not the wait times listed include the time it's just sitting in storage and not opened yet. My Wife and I have a 4 month old baby boy, so hard to join the waiting club.... :(

The wait time begins from the day application reached cic (canada post delivery date).
