@beeelythe: That doesn't make sense. Step 1 is supposed to be purely sponsorship approval - can you afford to take care of your partner or not. Common-law related delays would be in Step 2, right, where they start considering the relationship details. So I think the MP is simply trying to avoid helping. I would say hang in there, it would probably come sooner than mine.
@kasia333: Yes I sent the medical receipt with the file, but this Medical Received note is visible in the Permanent residence application column, not the sponsorship column. Does that mean its being updated by VO, not Mississauga Office? Because Mississauga only works on sponsorships I think.
