I have got my medical done by Jan 23rd.. and still no update on passport request.

My file was received by may 26th

Any updates from anyone applied in same timeframe?

My application was received on May 5th and Medicals done by Dec 14th. Paid RPRF upfront as well and waiting as you are.

Yep, mine is a week ahead from yours and I'm in the same position.

My latest GCMS notes from last week say "Medical Passed' and Eligibility is "Recommend Passed."

Im the same as Sylar,gonna apply for a BOWP for myself and visitor visas for the missus and the 3 kids at some point this week as my TWP expires 20th April.
Money,money,money,its gonna end up around $5,000 for the 5 of us when its all done,I guess it is worth it in the end though.

I am confused by receiving a second medical exam request from CIC today.
I submitted the application in Sep. 2013, and had completed medical exam in May 2014, while my wife did not undergo X-ray due to her pregnancy. After having the baby, my wife completed the medical exam in Nov. 2014. I also sent the photocopy of birth certificate of my newborn baby to CIC by email in Nov. 2014. Since then, I have been optimistically and eagerly expecting the passport request.
Is it normal they ask for a second MR?

Hi Mofan,

I think it would be best for you to call and make sure it is not an error. That said, yes, a friend received more than 1 exam request and had to go for a second exam even though nothing was found on his first exam. I hope this helps
