My PR card arrived yesterday :D

Landed 10th April,on Thursday last week the PR cards for my wife,and my 3 daughters arrived,mine still hasn't lol,gotta love CIC.

Can you hire a car? If not I would make an appointment with Service Canada in Calgary. I was told that as long as you have COPR it is ok if your work permit expires,double check on this with Service Canada,one of the border agents at Carway had told me this.

No it is not completely wrong!!! One of my workmates had applied for BOWP and had it refunded because he got his PR,I'm still waiting for mine to be cancelled as we got DM the day after applying for our BOWP.

The American staff at Carway at friendlier than the Canadian staff,you might end up waiting for over an hour just to sign the papers,we never got interviewed,but the wait was a pain in the ass with 3 young kids getting bored lol.

I would take that news with a pinch of salt mate! I know people that applied under old system and EE,only 1 guy I know out of about 6 that applied via EE has had any news,my CEC application was all done in under 11 months,yet another friend applied 6 weeks before me and has had no MR yet.
