Im the same as Sylar,gonna apply for a BOWP for myself and visitor visas for the missus and the 3 kids at some point this week as my TWP expires 20th April. Money,money,money,its gonna end up around $5,000 for the 5 of us when its all done,I guess it is worth it in the end though.

According to my letter we don't meet the residency requirements which is strange as according to my research we should have been entitled to claim after being within Canada for 18 months. We did get a GST rebate last year,but thats all that we have had so far.

I doubt it would be an issue,my wife was knocked down by a car when she was younger,suffered a broken arm in 3 places,broken leg,and cracked skull. We had no problems with the medicals!

I got the same letter despite us being in Canada since April 2013,I'm hoping that the woman and HR block that does my taxes will chase them up on it for me.

And do I only need a photo for myself?(the principal applicant) Don't know why they can't simply download a copy of a photo from the file using the UCI number.

Anyone here have kids and applied for a BOWP? Its looking as if we are gonna have to apply for a BOWP as my TWP expires 20th April,I've heard that you have to pay $150 for each person including kids from one person,I am hoping that its only the adults that have to pay as we have have 3 kids.

My application was received 2nd May 2014,AOR received 11th June 2014,RCMP request 30th June,then nothing until the MR 3rd December,now we are waiting for the RPRF email. A friend of mine who now has his residency got his RPRF email the day after his MR email,hoping ours comes soon.
