Only emails I got were: AOR RCMP request MR request Then the COPR in the mail. My ECAS did not change from May 2014 until January 2015 when it said MR had been received,even when I got DM I called CIC to confirm that it was a positive decision.

Anyone know how I go about cancelling my BOWP application? I landed on 10th April with 10 days to spare on my TWP go figure lol,so now no longer need the BOWP but wouldn't mind getting the $655 back sooner rather than later. I applied online the day before my ECAS changed to DM lol.

Correct^^^ Not everyone will get an RCMP request,I know that there are around 16 people in Alberta with the same name as me some have criminal records which is probably the reason that I got the request. I know of several people who never got the RCMP request.

Wow,that was fast! But it is only 3 cases to be fair and you can bet there is NO chance 100% of cases will be done as fast as that.

Done our PR landing yesterday,the woman said it should take 4-6 weeks to receive our PR cards.

We landed at Carway yesterday! We were kept waiting about 1 1/2 hours before I was called out to sign the COPR letters,and that was it lol,no interviews,etc.. if it wasn't for the wait it would have taken 5 minutes. Hoping everyone else has plain sailing with their PR!

If you have already applied in June 2014,I am guessing that you have AOR,and possibly MR? If so it would be pointless to apply via EE as although they do claim that they will process applications within 6 months,there is always the chance that it may take longer in some cases,just as it does...

The fee is to help towards the cost of EE administration,you would think that they would have just slapped an extra $100 onto the EE fee,guess they can make more money this way.

They claim to be fast,but no one yet knows as no one that has applied via EE has PR as yet! It may be processed in the time they claim,or it may well take a bit longer.
