Senior got MR on the 27th so the CIC offices weren't closed all the time.

I doubt that, I think CIC is on vacation this week and they are all back to work next monday the 7th. maybe his status changed to 'in process' before the holyday season and he noticed it the 27th.

I am still waiting for my MR, app date May 7th, AOR on 20th Aug, MR "STILL WAITED" any advise/suggestions are most welcome

Hi Sunapr, according to the instruction on the MR you will need to bring only 2 photos, but in my case the clinic asked me for 4 identical ones. it wouldn't hurt to spend a few bucks, it is better to be sure than sorry.

TAKE THIS SHEET WITH YOU TO THE PHOTOGRAPHER
Immigration photos are not the same as passport photos.
Make sure that you provide the correct number of photos specified in the Checklist.

The photos must:

measure between 25 mm and 30 mm (1″ and 1 1/5″) from chin to crown
have a 35 mm x 45 mm (1 3/8″ x 1 3/4″) finished size
bear the date the photo was taken (not the date the photo was printed) directly on the back (stick-on labels are not acceptable).

I paid $390 for my medical, i live in alberta. i believe the cost differs depending on which province you will get it done. You can call the physicians clinic to find out

really i ive in alberta too i paid doctors 150 / x ray 50 and 25 dollar for lab ...how come u paid 350.....
