Received email stating that my application has been rejected.
The reason is that I did not specify any job duties on employment letter. What should I do? Do I apply again with a new letter? Please advise.

Trying to learn from your case, had you not submitted a detailed description of your duties and responsibilities at all (even in a separate page yourself) ? Or the refusal was for the reason that it was not present in your Reference letter provided by the employer ?

My employer did not put job duties in the letter. Can I send them a new letter or should I re-apply?

Sorry to hear this.
I would immediately reply to the message your received (refusal email), stating that you are prepared to get a new updated letter from your employer and re-submit it (assuming your employer will re-issue such a letter). There is no harm in trying, perhaps it's even better to get a new letter from your employer, scan it and resubmit it by email, as a response to refusal stating that you can mail the original if it is required.
I am not sure if this works or not. Hopefully someone with experience will comment soon.

When it's refused, the only way is to re-apply. They're not going to respond to that email or take in any updated reference letter.

I see....well if that is the case, then don't loose hope, just gather all the documents again with an updated employment letter and re-apply.

Hi.i am new to this forum. We submitted our application on May 23rd, received by cic on 28th of May and Aor received in October 1st.PCC requested on Nov 1st, submitted on dec12th. After that haven't heard anything from Cic. Any Idea what would be happening??

There is nothing to loose.
Even though you've decided to re-apply, try to send your updated employment letter to CIO and see what happens.

Application Filed: 16 May
AOR: 26th August
Medical : Jan 8th
Current Status: In Progess (changed on 4th)

I have received another mail yesterday which has asked me to get the RCMP Criminal record check based on fingerprints and PCC from another country where I have stayed for sometime.

It seems that they had hit the Quote under CEC class last year and did not sent Medical request to anybody for almost 1.5 month and they have started sending medical requests now. I hope that everyone of you will get the medical request soon.

Congarts for medicals whoi have received it recently..
I did complete mine on Dec 11 was sent on Dec 15 2012..Even RCCP was sent on the 15th for my husband....Nothing happened since then....Usually how long does it take to receive any feedback from them after medical is done??Do I have to inform them about my wp expiry????cheers, Islington
