There should be two addresses mentioned in the email: one for postal mail (POBox) and the other one for courier.

Hello Friends,

Can some one answer my question?

Do we need to send the Passports to CPP-Ottawa? Can't we go to Detroit Consulate and get them stamped in person, if you have US Visa?

Please advise.

The Detroit consulate closed earlier this year. Pity too, since it's a short drive away for me.

Question for the ones who have done their Medical tests - (emed)

I received my MR yesterday - and when im trying to book an appointment with any e-med facility, they first ask for my IME no - and then they say that its not showing up in their system. Hence, they wont be able to process my MR online.

Did any of you guys faced this problem? Do i need to give it a few days and then try to get an appointment?

Hi guys,

Just received an email from Ottawa stating that if I do not provide Police Certificate in 30 days my application will be refused. Very sad as I did provide PC 3 months ago. Also I have to provide Certified military records ? Anyone did this before ?

All the best

Hi,
this is very strange, and disappointing.
I would suggest you make all the necessary steps to obtain the PCC within the 30 days window given to you.
Also I would email them and ask whether they had received the PCC you sent 3 month ago.
If it was valid at the moment they received it (it should be less then 3 month old when they get it), then it should still be valid, since certificates are valid for one year.
Can't say anything about the military records.
wishing you luck!

Did the email actually said they will refuse your application if you don't provide the PCC within 30 days?
They usually just ask for it, and say something like:

in order to continue processing your application please supply the ....
This information MUST be received by the office within 30 days...
or something similar.
if you are afraid that you won't do it in time, you can write them an email about it, but they usually reply that you should first try to do it within 30 days, and write them only if you failed, also make sure you would have documents to prove that you tried, and it just took longer.

anyway, good luck! at this point, any news from CIC is good I think, means things are moving. I have a feeling my case is just sitting somewhere and nothing is happening.

I emailed RPRF payment reciept as an attachment to "CPPO-Cost-Recovery@cic.gc.ca" and "OttPilot-Immigration@cic.gc.ca".

Can anyone advise whether the same should be mailed to CPP-O. If so, what is the address? Thanks

Hi Guys,

I just got my medical examination request. I live in Toronto and I was wondering if you have any suggestions regarding the doctors in Toronto. It seems that only two of them (Dr. Chiu in Sheppard and Dr. Mascarenhas in St. clair) send the results electronically to the government which I assume would be much faster. Any comments on these doctors!?
