Emailed CPP Ottawa yesterday, got a response today stating that I am "in process" and nothing is needed of me at this time.

My wife emailed them yesterday about our application. Within hours she received the same reply. Oddly, ECAS still says application received. That's just so damn frustrating!

I received a reply from London today stating

"Your file is currently under review with an immigration officer and they will be in contact should they require any further information or have any updates."

But ECAS is still application received so my guess is it will just go to decision made when its all done and won't bother with in process

Quick update: My wife's application is now in 'In Process' status as of October 10. Vienna office is picking it up, so we are hoping for a DM status soon.

Hello everyone, i am preparing putting together all the requested documents for my wife's interview cos our visa office is one of those offices that calls for interview before issuing a visa. My question is that for the photos requested, are we allow to bring them our bed room pictures cos i am not sure whether it might be offensive to some Visa officers due to religious reasons? Thanks

Sadly we have been asked to attend an interview on November.20th. We were just requested today, Oct.26th.

Tavora, it stills says application received. I gave up checking eCas out. I get my hopes up each time then it all comes slamming down. So I ignore it now.

Cheers, some visa offices call for interview even if your case is straight forward like my VO so just relax and do what you have to do and at the end of the day you will leave the VO smiling. Good luck
