Where did you get the certificate though? is that something they provided to you when you arrived? Like in customs... or was that on your visitor visa? Hope you are able to work something out, I agree with the above responses though about it complicating things if you want to come back again.

We had the exact same request and when we went in, we said we were confused because clearly the question was asking for 10 years in our case (my spouse is 38) and she said "yes i'm sorry, we actually changed it and we need 18 years now but the forms haven't been updated." -very nice...

Hey Dazz, I personally think another reason why ours is moving along a lot faster is they requested an interview for us Nov.20th as our evidence was not sufficient for them. The same day of the interview they "approved" us in a way and said they believe our relationship and were just waiting...

We contacted our MP for a failed visitor visa application to and they were super helpful at giving us more info. However, with the PR... I emailed back and forth with the embassy about 4 times and then they just sent me an interview request so that could be because I made them angry.. I guess...

Thanks all! So happy it's over :) Just got our PPR last week so we are making great progress because of this interview! Much faster I know than if we had of sent in all the extra documents. Interviews aren't so bad after all! Goodluck to all!
