Oh tell me about it! To make things worse, I'm starting to be a bit unhappy about participating in family type of social functions. This Thanksgiving was torture! Honestly, I didn't enjoy it. Exercise used to work quite well in distracting me. I should probably increase the amount of workout. I'm in the same boat, and a lot of others are as well. eCAS isn't very reliable, it's hit and miss, really. Don't worry, hopefully things will go forward for us soon!chopsticks said:

i got some good news, this morning Oct 11, on ecas status change from "in process" to Decision Made" and they also updated my wife address to my canada address. but the only thing i dont understand is the canada address they updated only stated Edmonton, Alberta, Canada instead of my full Edmonton Canada address. Should i leave it that way mor should i update it myself since there is an option for me to do so now?
just a recap, ppr on sept 28th, beijing vo recevied our pp on oct 2th, oct 11 decision made so 10 days in total ;D now we are waiting to receive my wife passport with the visa then we can start looking for plane tickets
also there's no email or mail for the decision made notice. Only stated on eCAS "A decision has been made on your application. The office will contact you concerning this decision"
Yes its supposed to be that way. Dont get too down over ecase! Its not 100% reliable and doesnt mean they dont work on it, just cause its on "app. received", it can also directly go to "desicion made" without you expecting it or showing "in process" before.chopsticks said:
I still haven't gotten sponsorship approval either. Funny though, that my papers are in London which I've heard, means that I've been approved to sponsor. I didn't get an aknowledgement of receipt either, or the approval of sponsorship. I've only received a letter stating I forgot to sign one of the papers and with that letter I got my UCI. Ecas states application received. I did, however send them email asking if everything is ok and they responded saying the papers are in London and everything is going normally.CanadianJeepGuy said:
I think it can happen if maybe theres an error in email address or mailing address, maybe you made a mistake or they did, easily something is not typed right, a technical problem in email transfer or the email lands in your junk folder etc.lehaju said:
