e-cas has just been updated!! wheeeeeee
london received my application 11th july
started to process 20th july

Yayyy! So I checked for any e-cas tracker updates on my email just before I got off from work; I saw nothing. Left from work disappointed. Got home barely an hour later and checked my email again, just cos I do this everytime I get home. "E-cas Changed" baby!!! ;D

Here is where it gets interesting. I got 3 ecas tracker emails that were quite confusing. One email started off with:
We can now see the details of your application on e-CAS...
Latest update:
"We received XXX's application for permanent residence
on July 11, 2011.

The second email started off with:
We can now see the details of your application on e-CAS...
Latest update:
"We sent you a letter on June 28, 2011 about the decision on your
application. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us."

The third email started off with:
It looks like there may have been a change to your e-CAS. However, it is
not not entirely clear. The number of lines of information showing seems to
have decreased, and that doesn't usually happen!


Im reading all three emails and I am like" "okkkkkk...now I am confused!" So I had to go and look on the ecas myself and I could see y the tracker thing was confused. Cos the updates were not making any sense!The ecas thing has got the dates and applications all mixed up!! Or should I say whoever it was who updated the ecas did.

Under the SPONSORSHIP APPLICATION STATUS COLUMN, I now had:
IN PROCESS - We received your application to sponsor XXX on July 11, 2011.
We started processing your application on July 19, 2011.

DECISION MADE - We received your application to sponsor XXX on May 25, 2011.
We started processing your application on June 28, 2011.
We sent you a letter on June 28, 2011 about the decision on your application. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.

And under the PERMANENT RESIDENCE APPLICATION STATUS COLUMN, I had:
APPLICATION RECEIVED - We received XXX's application for permanent residence on July 11, 2011.


What??!! ??? ??? Such confusion!!! Will be calling the Call Centre in the morning to sort that out.

Anyway, was I glad to see those ecas tracker updates in my email tonight. Love U ecas tracker! ;D

Thanks to everyone who encouraged me while I waited in agony for an update.
Now to the next phase of waiting and waiting and not knowing. Hopefully less of waiting.

Im so excited, I cant sleep or eat! Even though my eyes hurt with fatigue and my tummy is rumbling for food, I am too excited!

Mine looks different , Are you using ecas tracker? I am not.
Since last Monday, this is what it shows.

We received xxxxxxx application for permanent residence on July 4, 2011.

Wow you guys VOs have been really busy. I'm glad things are moving! Spicymum I'm especially happy seeing that you are from one of those slow processing countries like myself! My ap was forwarded 2 weeks ago, nothing yet but it's expected.

U know what, I think Im going to follow suit and not bother calling the Contact Centre. I think I know what the correct info is, so Im just going to work with that. No point spending my 15mins morn break on that.

Thanks trini777. U know what, Accra has terribly long official timelines, but recently I have heard of people's applications being processed and favourably concluded really fast over there. I am hoping our application will be one of those. I cannot wait 22 months; that is for sure!
