It's been a month now and no news!

PPR is not as fast compared to previous batches ....... It made May batches a little bit crazy. Like my PPR letter was dated 5 weeks after the sponsor was approved ....

No PPR yet! even AOR! It's just today that we found out our app was received in Manila on July 20.

for anyone getting PPR in the future (i know there have been one or two people from May to have already gotten it), would you perhaps share whether it was by email or regular mail and (if your profile does not already show it) which visa office it came from? i've already read a couple of Buffalo people saying that their PPRs arrived via email too, so I guess it's not just the sponsorship that arrives that way (or at least for some visa offices). sigh.......

Received my ppr last august 5. PPR letter dated July 26. It is through URGENT post mail. Ecas (using my file number) shows application received. And last August 12, it says medical received and then my address already shows up. Visa office is Manila.

thanks spicymum, were do I also view this poem ?? Dair's thread you say ?? By the way , which city are you heading I would love to meet you in the other side of the continent . My husband lives in Toronto, so that were I will be headed...not sure when though ....

Would love to meet you too, U really seem to have such a kind and feeling spirit. Also, would be exciting to put a face to the name and reminisce about the good old CIC days.

I actually live in Calgary AB. My husband is the one being sponsored by myself and will be joining me here. I hardly get to leave town (story of my life :-[) but will definitely keep in mind that I have a friend in Toronto.
And if U ever came this way, holla at your girl! ;D
