FINALLY!!!!

I received the letter today saying that I have been approved and the app had been transferred to Rabat. The letter is dated July 26th.

So not sure when Rabat actually receives it but at least it is something!!

Yay!!! Congrats Dair! About time!! ;D ;D ;D

You just need ecas to update in a couple of weeks to say Rabat has received it and you'll be right back at the same stage as all the rest of us (except perhaps those lucky people applying to New Delhi who'll probably have received their PPRs by then!)

I cannot tell you the relief in my husbands voice last night...LOL

Unfortunately with this month being Ramadan there is no point in even starting the 10 month wait till next month. But at least he will hopefully arrive next June or July while the weather is warm and has time to ease into winter...hahaha Yea...a Moroccan easing into a Canadian winter...pffft :

Anyway, things seem slow here but at least we know they are where they need to be I hope. I have not been following well. So I do hope BritishBulldog has gotten some confirmation as well.

Hi package was recieved on May 30, 2011 and I was approved for sponsorship on july 6th and we still havent heard anything from ecas..is this normal? Its been a month and still nothing.

What visa office are you with? When you say you haven't heard from e-cas, does that mean you haven't been able to log in to E-cas?

It was sent to Manila on July 6th and my wife has not recieved a letter from cic and they havent updated ecas...also she sent an email about her change of address and they replied on Aug 2nd that they havent recieved the file yet????? I cant believe that it takes that long for the application to get to Manila grrrr

It will take for while, so hang in there My husband was approved as a sponsor last June 21 and Manila received our application last July 4 but until now no passport request yet. For previous batches, they already have passport request around this time. So truly, Manila is getting slower by the day .... My ecas was updated last July 21 that says CEM received our application last July 4. So it will take for while for ecas to be updated You might get an update soon Good luck for all of us!!!

As per the letter, they started processing the app on July 25, 2011, was received at the post office on July 29, 2011 and he just received it Aug.6, 2011. THey are asking for his passport and a completed Appendix A form.=)

This process is emotionally and pschycologically exhausting.
