I'm with you on the anxiety bit! I've been checking my email at least three times a day to see if we've heard anything about sponsorship approval. Nothing yet, but I'm sure it will happen this week or hopefully next. I just hope we have someone who's on the ball looking through our application. My daughter hasn't seen her father in nearly 5 months and I just want this to be a speedy process, we all miss each other terribly.

Fingers crossed for a smooth, speedy process for everyone...and me! ;o)

Good news.. I got Sponsor Approval yesterday!!! ;D

I was so excited when I checked my email and saw front and center the email from CIC.
So we are moving along, it will be all your turn soon.
Best of luck to everyone still waiting for the approval.
And well here we go again in another waiting game.. hahha :-\

keep strong guys. i know the wait is killer. i would do the same thing checking my email every 5 seconds. till i said im going to die of anxiety or something. so decided not to check for a day and give it time. the next day checking for another thing i find it there that i had received it the day i didnt check. and just knowing that all the checks are good and they didnt send back the application is the biggest stress reliever ever. good luck to all.

i hope we will get our approval before the end of this week!!!!!! ahhhhhhhhhh the wait is killing me. lots of things going on. i just applied for a study permit so i could upgrade my skills while waiting for the pr.

I got approved after 39 days, so if you don't hear anything this week, it may very well be next week.

Well going by the website.... 42 days will take me exactly to June 30. So I am not expecting anything before then. Should we hear before then it will be a wonderful surprise.

Isn't it a killer!! Man I am going to end up with ulcers from this!!

Tonight I have decided to go to something completely new for me.... stock car races. My friend and her bf go all the time and she raves about it. She knows I am just about losing a screw from this process so she invited me to go with them.

Should have seen my daughters face at the prospect ... LOL but I figure we can't knock it till we try it.

Tomorrow is car wash for kids programs where we live. Water, soap and BUBBLES!!! ;D

I am SO thankful for distractions!!

hi guys!! i just want an update on my application... i don't know how I'm suppose to get that..
i sent my application at the end of April.. FedEx informed me that my parcel arrived in Mississauga on may 3rd.
now do I just wait till the CPC-M gives me a response?
i sent the application from Pakistan.. i am sponsoring my husband.. who recently went out of country. and i have to inform them of the temp. change in my husband's residence... how do i inform them when i don't know anything about my application??
and will they contact me( the sponsor) or my husband (the applicant)?
please if someone can help me out please do so.. its been more then 46 days...

me and my husband are waiting desperately.. i still have my studies to finish...please help!!

Sorry, Been a bit busy with work so i haven't had time to post as I wanted to. Sponsorship on my case was approved on June 13th. File has been forwarded to Buffalo. Haven't gotten an AOR or ECAS update on that yet, but I will keep checking and let you guys know when I do. Step One complete!

The next correspondence typically is with you. Mississauga would be sending a confirmation that you have been approved as sponsor. The change of address will be important to notify to the canadian embassy in Pakistan (assuming that is the VO processing your husband's visa) but may be it is OK to wait until the file has been transferred to Pakistan. Typically, the step of the application, which is sponsorship approval takes about 40 days. My suggestion would be to contact Mississauga and ask about your application.
