I just have a spot for phone numbers home, work, other and fax......then on to question 8... nothing else.

But I haven't recieved mail or e-mail regarding the decsion

I am really worried...

It seems all the people with approval have recieved an e-mail.

You might receive something by mail. Which with the postal strike at the moment means you won't get anything for at least a week depending how quickly they get legislated back to work or make a deal.

I realized today that I will not receive an email because the form changed after printed it out and made many copies that Question 7 changed to add email. GRRRRR

Do they notify the sponsor of sponsorship approval, or the person being sponsored? I can't remember if I put my email address (I'm the sp) but I know my fiance did. Thanks.

how did you know you were approved? through ecas? if so, did you pay online? and did the number worked?

My application was received by CIC May 17 or 18, and we haven't heard a thing!

It says online that processing is up to 42 days. So you are still within the time frame.

If you did not provide them with an email then they will post a letter to you, which with the strike will take some time to get to you.

Not to worry I am sure you will hear soon though.

Hi Everyone,

In E-cas under the Permanent Residence Application Status, it now says Application received. I assume thats the VO (we chose Singapore) that received the app and thats the AOR everyone talks about?

My Time Line is like this:

May 4th - Application Received by Case Processing Center, Mississauga, ON , Canada.
June 3rd - Started Processing.
June 3rd - Sent email saying "Decision Made" under Sponsorship Application Status.

June 9th - Application Received. This is the AOR?

I will really appreciate it if anyone can shed some light on this. I am assuming that a lot of us may have the same question.

I printed out all the forms before I left for Morocco in January this year. I made several copies so that while I was there my husband and I could fill out everything needed and make sure there was no mistakes.

The "Application to Sponsor and Undertaking" obviously was changed after this time because I do not have a 7 (b) for the question 7 asking "Your Telephone Number".

I held on to the completed forms I had printed until we had the police check, medical and translated family book. (all this took longer than expected) Once we had everything I simply mailed the application. I did not realize there was any changes made to this form and am now worried they will return it to be corrected.
