nevilraval, I don't have any UCI in my AOR. Are you sure that number it's part of the AOR?

Maybe they changed the AOR format meanwhile, I have my AOR since June 14.... I published it on my blog, http://jurnaldeemigrant.blogspot.com/2010/09/ce-contine-email-ul-de-la-sydney.html . It's your AOR different ?

Dear catalin_b,

In my AOR it is like this:

UCI: xxxxxxxx

*xxxxxxxx*

Application: Bxxxxxxxxx

*Bxxxxxxxxxx*

Dear xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx:

"
This refers to your application for permanent residence in Canada in the Federal Skilled Worker class."

So what is this UCI number it is 8 digit number..

A wild guess would be Universal Client ID? I think they assign some kind of Client ID to your file the moment they receive it, perhaps they have a different number which they use for your application/E-CASE number.

It seems that all of us are still waiting 1st AOR.

anyone else?

Me too. Still waiting for AOR :(

Wayne, you could be right. Maybe this UCI has something to do with the new rules set on June 26, maybe they change the internal procedures, not only the NOC list.

Regarding the E-CAS application, I see the same info using both file numbers: the file number number received in the Sydney's AOR and the file number received in the AOR received from Visa Office.

Went to our consultant awhile ago and he doesn't really know what went wrong. since my work is not in the existing NOC list we will apply again but my husband will be the primary applicant now. he is also qualified for the fsw program.

although we both qualify in the beginning, we decided that I will be the primary applicant since my points are much higher than his. but now that my application was denied, it's his turn. I don't know the real reason why my paper was denied but I know there is a reason. perhaps its just not our time yet...

Hi JPMA,

What is intriguing is that several people have had applications returned without CC/BD cashed, on the basis of inadequate work experience/NOC duties. In your case they did cash your CC/BD first, but then also rejected later on because of work experience. This indicates that they did this during the eligibility review rather than the completeness check.

So my thoughts are that they have an initial check during the completeness check - to make sure your duties look vaguely like they fit the description, and they will probably approve any borderline cases to be picked up in the eligibility review, remembering that the completeness check is supposed to be a very fast process. Then in the eligibility review they examine the duties more thoroughly.

We're also a little worried about the duties for our application (3131 industrial pharmacist, my wife is pa), but of course we have our work experience letters and contracts in addition to the forms so we're just hoping it will all be enough, but it will probably come down to the discretion and common sense of the immigration officer doing our eligibility review.

Anyway I am very sorry to hear your case, but also glad that you have another option to apply again with your husband as a primary applicant.

Best of luck!
Wayne.
