Experience (21 points)

80. (1) Up to a maximum of 21 points shall be awarded to a skilled worker for full-time work experience, or the full-time equivalent for part-time work experience, within the 10 years preceding the date of their application, as follows:
(a) for one year of work experience, 15 points;
(b) for two years of work experience, 17 points;
(c) for three years of work experience, 19 points; and
(d) for four or more years of work experience, 21 points.
Listed occupation

(2) For the purposes of subsection (1), points are awarded for work experience in occupations, other than a restricted occupation, that are listed in Skill Type 0 Management Occupations or Skill Level A or B of the National Occupational Classification matrix.
Occupational experience

(3) For the purposes of subsection (1), a skilled worker is considered to have experience in an occupation, regardless of whether they meet the occupation's employment requirements of the occupation as set out in the occupational descriptions of the National Occupational Classification, if they performed
(a) the actions described in the lead statement for the occupation as set out in the National Occupational Classification; and
(b) at least a substantial number of the main duties of the occupation as set out in the occupational descriptions of the National Occupational Classification, including all the essential duties.

I believe very strongly you will get favourable decision after your appeal.

Dear JPMA

SORRY for the rejection of your application.I think if you have not other choice ,check job duties that you mentioned with those in CATALIN_B post,ifit is close and compatable with them you can get a consultant and he or she can communicat with them .I heard that they are obligated to reed and answer your complaint.If you havenot other choice I think it is reasonable.

Be patiant and calm and only think and find a way ,control your excitment because it destroys your attention and hasnot any other benefits.

Hi...
My COnsultant mistakenly put my surname in the given name field and my first name in the family name field on all the application forms. and on my passport it is opposite ( you know wat i mean)
I M may applicant.
just suggest me how i must deal with it.u want me to leave it like this or tell them about it.i m so tense.can u please reply..
My application still At CIO...

I heard sombody had mistakes in his application ,he sent a letter and corrected forms to NS and wrote URGENT on the envelope.he got good response .

you can make correction while u send complete docs to visa office by mentioning this in covering letter.

Hello one and all

I called CIC 2 days ago and they told me that they were unable to find my file updated on their system so i should wait for two weeks to call again.

I got up this morning and checked my email and ................. there it was.

My first AOR. My cheque was encashed on August 12.

Please update my status and correct my name JAVA363

i have just called CIO NS Canada, they told me they are working on 3 rd may applications so i will receive letter after couple of weeks

The table shows CIO is issuing AOR for the applicants after 3rd May.

Call center probably doesn't have any new information so they are saying what they know.

At the same time CIO in Sydney are processing applications, and that's what we now know for sure. I think there is no reason to call them now, just wait for your time...

it seems to me that people from india are getting file no.s
as the names in the list indicates
most names are indian
i am an indian too and i got my AOR.(BY Email)
do someone from any other country get his/her AOR

Thanks Tegnus for the prompt response.

I had not been on the Internet for a few days now as I had a family mishap and I have to be going back and forth to the hospital.

I was so over whelmed by my AOR that I neglected to congratulate all the others on theirs.

CONGRATULATIONS ALL ON RECEIVING YOUR AOR'S.
