Hi,

I am using a consultant for my PR processing and got my AOR from my consultant yesterday.
I now tried using the Immigration File No: B********* to check application status online, on CIC website and it says 'Cannot locate your application'.

Why is that? Those of you who have received your AORs, were you able to check your status online?! ???

it seems to me that people from india are getting file no.s
as the names in the list indicates
most names are indian
i am an indian too and i got my AOR.(BY Email)
do someone from any other country get his/her AOR

I think most of the AORs are for the NOC 0213.

I am sorry to hear this...but its alarming thing.... it is clear that they chraged all the credit cards/DD without reviewing the application and now the are doing this.

Also its strange that CIO only sent the letter otherwise normally they sent full package back.

Dear JMPA, can u plz tell what is the date on CIO letter and when it was received to u? which country r u from?

@JMPA, CIO could be drastic in their actions. My sister had gotten her PR and that of her husband and that of her first child. As at the time they were processing she got pregnant but got the PR days to her delivery date. She eventually gave birth before they could leave, they tried to add the child to the immigration process but CIO said it is not possible and that they have to start all over. They just went to reapply after getting the PR. They wanted to even go to court but the consultant adviced them to start over. They lost consultant fees and some other fees.
So you can see my friend yours is not yet deep. Just take heart and quickly reapply instead of contemplating on how to solve the case at hand cos there is no way, their decision is final. Apply fast, remember it is a race against slot

I am not able to understand CIO strategy, working procedures and process.....................June applicants are also receiving AORs whilea lot of May and even April applicants are still waiting.......... ???

Blessedwkg, you should wait a few days after receiving the AOR; then check if the application status is available online.
Obviously, I also checked the CAS every day after receiving the AOR

That is odd bcoz u should get reply from CIO, NS, Canada not from VO Islamabad and even VO Islamabad is no more responsible for immigration cases....

When did u submit ur application to CIO, Canada,
What is ur NOC Code?
When was ur credit card / Demand Draft Charged?
