Actually if you look at ecas help, it show B********* can be recipient number:

https://services3.cic.gc.ca/ecas/redir.do?redir=id_num&lang=en&app=ecas

You will find this number on the document that was filled out and stamped when you paid your fees at a financial institution or on the official receipt you obtained when you paid your fees on the Internet. Your "Receipt Number (IMM 5401)" starts with a letter, followed by nine numbers. (Example: B000000000).

THEY CLEARLY MENTION IN THE E MAIL ------PLEASE QUOTE THE FILE NUMBER ABOVE------------SO IT IS A FILE NUMBER AND START WITH B

With reference to the delay in receiving AOR,Just remembering the dialogue in Hindi movie Damini- " Tarikh pe tarikh,tarikh pe tarikh judge saab !!!"

Guys,

im wondering the charging of DDs/CCs so early mean they are using the money for their processing activities. But be patient stay down there , wait n see. hope u all good results inshallah.

3rd may applicants-----alizia,kummi95 and raki1 will tell us this week about thier AORS then 4th may applicants ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,i m there eagerly waiting ,i dont know we will get or not?

see surprise of page291 april thread --link mentioned by 13042010 guy........ thats why they started encashing dds and ccs fast to keep huge amount in the bank and forget the re 26 june applicants breaking the old fast track rules...once they commited they shouldnt change...may be they will do same with post 26 june applicants also later.i think may be lots of unemployment and economic crisis started in canada otherwise they will not discourage all applicants like this ...anyway wait and see their more games...

Have you read the new instructions for processing PR applications (renewed on August 2010) ?
Or my brief recap of them in this thread previously ?

If money were charged - FILE will be definitely created.
If you receive AOR, it is ok, application is transferred to VO.
If you receive deny, file will be closed, and appropriate TAG will be placed in it. Money will be refunded.


My two presumes:
1) they probably have already processed all May, June applications
And local Visa Offices has already known about our cases and known our file numbers.
CIC has just pressed 'PAUSE' button, and wait for something. When it decides to 'PLAY', it could make a mass email of all AOR.
(AOR email is needed, because without that email, you can't apply to local VO, though it has already your electronic file)
2) they are just moving so slowly, and now are in process state. They could process 2-3 applicants AOR by week, and we will receive AOR in 10 or 26 weeks, as someone wrote on this forum. In this case applicants will receive AOR step by step, consequently, in lazy manner.

I am voting for presume number 1.
