Dear All,

Plz advice, I have got my 6-12 months wait letter dated May 2012...
I am now intimating & updating my youngest daughter birth details(1 year Old now) and the renewed passport of my eldest daughter.
I have attained the Account Balance certificate from my ICICI bank in India. we have our settlement funds converted in to INR F.D 7 months back due to high yield of interest rates..
My concern is...
Initially we have shown the funds in Omani Riyals. Equals 35K CAD as our settlement funds.
Now the Balance letter is from the bank in India. Will there be any issue.
Is it enough to show only the Ac balance letter issued by the bank or Do I need to Attach the F.D certificates along the letter.
I am PA but the funds are in my Husbands name.
Unfortunately I dont have any BFD date mentioned on my GCMS notes. too...

Please advice should we update now all the details or should we wait for update request for CHC LVO.

Kindly advice.

Just an update regarding our case, this is the processing time that we observed from PPR to Visa issuance recently:

Oct.3 - Received PPR
Oct.9 - Sent PPs via consultant/agency (CIC)
Oct.28 - We received email from CEM to attend CIIP
Oct.29 - Visa Issued Stamp date
Nov.1 - ECAS was changed from InProcess to Decision Made (DM)
Nov.23 - Consultant/Agency (CIC) received PPs
Nov.24 - We received our PPs with VISA

based on the dates:
*it seems that it took approx. 3 weeks for CEM to start processing upon receiving the PPs
*it seems that visa stamping occurs after an email reminder to attend CIIP was sent by CEM (may or may not be applicable to other cases, I dont know)
*it seems after a day or 2 after visa stamping, ECAS has been updated (our case was updated to DM, but still Phil address)
*it seems it takes another 3 weeks for the PPs to be delivered via courier

Thank God after a long wait, we got our PPs with Visa. Thank you to all who have guided us , and hoping that the rest of you still waiting that you get your MR,PPR,VISA soon! best regards

4) i have just had daughter last week, fir which i was waiting, tomorrow i am going to go for medical and have just applied for my new born baby's passport, which i will get in next 10days. My last date for submitting all the doc is by 7th od dec. God know, if i can finish everything with in time.

This is in reference to your application for permanent residence in Canada. In order for us to continue the processing of your application, we require the following documents:
1) Complete or provide proof of completion of the Immigration medical examination for yourself, and all family members.
2) Provide a new original police clearance certificate from the state of Texas for yourself, and all family members.
3) Provide updated evidence of settlement funds (showing 3 months worth of deposits/withdrawals history).

Have been a mute observer of this thread for past few years. Thought of updating my status with everyone who applied in Buffalo, and were transferred to Ottawa.
