The Ministerial Instructions for Federal Skilled Workers applications between February 27, 2008 and June 26, 2010 is apllicable to you and I which contained 38 jobs (NOC) category. You points stands at 19 for work experience. Pre February 27, 2008 NOC codes/ jobs is not applicable to us.

I pray you have a good showing in your IELTS to cover the gap.

Cheers
Olabisi

Dear Olabisi,

Experience is not calculated this way as you mentioned.

Step 1:

To qualify for FSW1, you need to have min 01 year continuous experience in one of 38 NOC list (pre 26 june) or 29 NOC list (post 26 june).

Step 2: Experience Points are given for the total number of yeras of experience if your work is in category 0, 1 or 2 on Canadian full NOC list.

For example if u have 01 year in 1111 NOC then u r done with step 1 and qualify first requirement. then you have 5 years experience in a NOC which is not in ministerial list (old 38 or new 29) but that NOC is available on Canadian main occupation list and ur work category is 0, A or B....then u will get points for total 06 years....

Regards

14 is too tough for me to achieve..... i feel so confused.. earlier somebody advise its counted, now it's not . I wish to hear other opinions from the same situation and managed to get it through. :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'

no no dont worry.... ur experience as book keeper is counted as well....check what is NOC number for book keeper, then check which categort it is like 0, A or B and them match ur duties (at least 70%)....if all yes then ur experience will be counted as well and u will get full 21 points

Hi friends,

I am in doubt about work experience points. please help me.

I applied under 0213 and I need to get all 21 points of work experience. I know, to get 21 points I should provide 4 years of work experience or more.

My question is:
Is it necessary to provide all 4 years under 0213 or it can be one year for 0213 (software development manager) and 3 years for another NOC like 2174 (software developer)?

I mean, Do I have to provide 4 years of experience under the main NOC to get complete 21 points?

I appreciate your help... :)

Yes u will get 21 points if ur other NOC 2174 is from category 0, A, or B and matches about 70 % duties

Dear All,

I have received my 1st AOR from today.

Hope everyone will get it soon.

Congrats! My friend.

What is your category,NOC, and date of receiving your app.? I didn't find your info in the spreadsheet.

Congratulation for Buffalo Applicant.

We could not understand how CIO works. First, we assumed that they are working by VO. Now, when they started issuing AOR for buffalo, they started opposite way. Last applications in May received their AOR before applications sent in begging of May!!!

How long we have to wait? CIO doesn't care about applicant feeling. There is no justice in this process.

Hi Friends.

Atlast a great and good news not only for me but for all Buffalo applicants as well..

I received the first AOR today in email and delighted to see that in the email.

My details are there in the spreadsheet. Quick facts. applied in NOC 0213 (which is most cautious code in the list), Buffalo VO

All the best to all the applicants, especially for Buffalo VO applications. My prayers are with all of you.

Need to collect few documents that I am starting do from tomorrow.. Will keep you updated as when I cross a milestone.

My sincere thanks for all the people who were supportive in sharing their information in this thread.

Hi Salem,

I understand your impatience to get AOR. BUt dont worry, have patience and hope for the best.

My application was received by CIO on 4th May-10 and I just recently received AOR on 26th May-10 (NOc 1111).

We can't say that they are working on first come first serve basis.

All the best dear.
