Barbus,
I am happy with your report. This is the true position at CIO. We dont expect CIO to issue AOR more than the visa office can handle. There is a check and balance between CIO and Visa Office.
Hopefully , like I stated last week , all those whose CC/DD has been charged should begin to tidy up their document preparatory for submission to the Visa Office.
The CIO need to know how many applicants are qualified under the new rule so that excess applications can be returned.
For those whose CC/DD is yet to be charged, please do not give up. CC is processed faster than Bank Draft. I can authoritatively tell you
this. There is hope for all of us.

Your idea makes the sense. I have just analyzed it, and recap the following:

It seems there is an year cap of immigrants processed every year.
So, all we know there were a lot of applicants on the beginning of this year, that why new rules were applied.
It seems that for 2010 cap is already fulled. That is why we have a pause in issuing AOR now.

What is the date now? It is 8th of September, so if AOR is issued today, the 4 months period for preparing full package is ending in 2011.
And local visa offices could start process such applicant only in 2011 in January.
That is why there was so little AOR in august.

I think idea mentioned above can be true, or they are just waiting for some other info or allowing to issue all May-June applicants the emails with AOR soon.

Thank you and good luck to all.

Cap doesn't apply for applicant who applied before 26 June 2010. May applicants are still processed against old rules.

I have just called to CIC call center.
They told me that I need to wait for 2 weeks, they are still processing May 3rd.
If I didn't receive a response from CIC, I should call them again. (My application was received on May 26)

So, lets keep positive and wait a little bit :)
I wish you all happiness :)
Thank you brabus_ for the firsthand news.
It is really hopefully.

thank u brabus for your update
it`s a hopefully news

The Canadian Immigration is divided into the following- Provincial Nominee, Skilled Workers, Family Class, Economic Class, Refugee etc.
Each class is allocated a fixed quota and CAN NEVER BE INCREASED.Thus the total number of PR issued by all Visa Office in given year MUST NOT EXCEED the required ( e.g 250000 -260,000).
CIC always put in measure to regulate the various classes. The Skilled worker category and the family class constitute the highest. In a specific Visa Office, quota are allocated in a given year foe each classes. While the bigger Visa Offices like Beijing , New Delhi are allocated the highest number, Accra and Abidjan will only get smaller number.

Hear me and hear me well. It is consequent upon the alarming number of applicant under the Federal Skilled worker category that make CIC to always shift the goal post every minutes. From 38 occupation to 29 and very soon it will be 10 , 5, 2 and 0..
CIC has bitten more than it can chew .

Again, all those whose CC/DD has been cashed should not worry. Just begin to get prepared to submit full document. You still fall under the 12months processing time. The PRE JUNE 26 applicants will have their application finalized by CIO. They will only need to send their PCC to their local visa office for mere formality. This is the essence of 20,000 per year
While the 20,000 per year is running PRE FEB 28,2008 applicantions will be exhumed by the respective VO

Tomorrow is heavily pregnant.

Which of the ID number do i make use of for the E cas and how to i get the number

When you call CIC, they provide you with a Client ID number which can be used as temporary ID number to check your online status. But you get your real File number once you get your AOR, this is what my understanding regarding from my readings and discussion with seniors. Hope that helps you :)

There is always exist a cap, not post-june-26 cap (1000 per noc, 20000 per all aplicants).
There are a lot of applicants around the world, and CIC can't process them all at once.
Why they have stable figures in statistics of permanent residence applicants?
They can't just increase these figures. Because many things depends inside the Canada on how much applicant enter the country in dependent year.
As you know there was a huge backlog in 2006, why all these people were not processed at once?
Because CIC and local VO employee can't do more than usual job, it is the canadian principle of work.
You should do average bit of work, not maximum than you could, not minimum, just common, usual as always.

Yes, they tell they are working on May 3rd for last month, there is no any AOR for May. Why do you think so happenned?
I don't belive they don't process us. All May/June applicants I think already processed.
They are simply waiting for some trigger to send everybody AOR, maybe it is some particular date in sempteber/october, may be same higher YES directive from goverment.

Please be patient, we all receive soon our answer :) I wish you all good luck.

sorry for updating my status so late.

My draft was cashed out on 13th Aug. Please update it. Thanks.

HI Friend it may possible that they have received morethan 1 million applications on 3rd Mar so they are processing on those..................
