No i applied on Match 12th and received aor on April 2nd. Got an update on April 4th. No updates since then.
Something went on after Mar 24th.
There seems to be varied experiences.

AORs seems to be stalled a bit.
Some have not received anything, just one ghost update and nothing after for multiple weeks. Some just test invites.
None have received test completion on tracking. None background check.

They have literally stopped working.

This is concerning and scary. Often making think something is wrong on their part. Tough psychologically. Really tough.

My wife applied 19 March and received AOR on 11th April.
reading posts where people are getting very uptight after just a few days, weeks. I went through this process during Covid and there were months of inactivity as they didn’t know how to proceed. It’s out of your control and you need to chill. The officers processing all these applications , take leave, go on training courses, etc, etc. same for those doing background checks.

I think number of applications submitted recently increased a lot thereby making AORs getting longer. Let's be hopeful and patient.

Yes, we have to be patient while also monitoring processing trends.

Personally I think (although only a guess) that this is the case, too - we're now about 3.5 years post-covid border restrictions being lifted, a lot of people delayed their arrival/return to Canada until after that. So yep, 3 yrs + is when people have accumulated the physical presence days. Numbers applying for c'ship probably will start to decline gradually some time in 2026.

And even if IRCC were to 'staff up' for this, it would take some time from when they started seeing numbers rise.
