May 2025 - Outland Spousal Sponsorship

Hi,

I received the Medical Examination Instructions as a PDF via email today (From: Do Not Reply - Ne Pas Repondre Client-update-mise-a-jour@cic.gc.ca). This is the first update I’ve received regarding my application—I haven’t received an Acknowledgment of Receipt (AOR) yet.

Has anyone else experienced this?

I also tried to link my application to my GCKey account, but I received a message saying that no file was found with the information I entered.

In my online account, the application status still shows as “Submitted,” and the “View Action” tab is disabled. How can I check which steps have been completed and what remains?

When you are trying to link via the GC Key, the last question that says number of persons in the application, if its just you being sponsored, input 2 and not 1. Try that with other information and see

Hi, I my visa office- Sydney, application submission date, and medical request dates are same, though I didn't received the AOR, not sure why. I submitted from India. Where did you submit your application?

I have received medical exam instructions, but haven't received biometrics request yet, but I see these blank sections on GCKey-

I received my Biometric Instructions Letter and Medical Exam Instructions yesterday. I noticed that my full name appears under "Last Name," while the "Given Name" field is empty on both documents. I checked my application, and it has the correct last and given names.


Has anyone else experienced this issue? Could it cause any problems when I go for the biometrics and medical exam?
