Not sure you have anything to worry about. They are obviously not doing by dates but rather, ‘week of’

Stay patient, it’s coming. Wouldn’t be getting worked up about AOR anyways, it’s a long road and it’s just the beginning.

How do you know that if you need one?

Submitted on Mar 19, waiting for AOR
Fingerprints are required for Canadian citizenship applications to conduct thorough background checks and verify the applicant's identity, ensuring they are who they claim to be and don't pose a security risk.

Here's a more detailed explanation:
  • Identity Verification:
Fingerprints help confirm an applicant's identity, making it more difficult for someone to forge their identity.

    • Criminal Record Check:
The RCMP uses fingerprints to check against criminal databases to ensure the applicant doesn't have a criminal record that would make them ineligible for citizenship.
    • Security Screening:
The background check, facilitated by fingerprints, helps ensure that the applicant does not pose a security risk to Canada.
    • Quality Assurance:
The fingerprint check may also be part of a quality assurance process, randomly selected applicants are required to submit fingerprints to verify the accuracy and completeness of the information provided in the application.
    • Other Scenarios:
IRCC may request fingerprints for other reasons, such as distinguishing applicants with similar names and dates of birth.

Yea. Applications are probably assigned to different reviewers in batches. One reviewer might be faster than others which explains why some people that submitted after you are getting AORs before you. Standard rule of dynamic batch processing is that once you finish with your allocation, go back to help people with the same batches as yours to get through theirs before moving on to the next batch. I see most people that submitted in March getting their AORs by end of week, next week.
