Hello, as I haven't received my Schedule A form request yet, I am going to submit it through IRCC web form. But can anybody tell me if it is okay to submit it with the 'typewritten signature' at the signature's section a the last page; or, I have to print it first and then sign by hand before I could scan and send it?

Thanks

Yes, they require a handwritten signature when submitting Schedule A through the webform. You will have to validate the form, print it, sign it, and scan it.

I came to Canada on PR in October 2016. I went back to my native country to get married in February 2017. Now I am back in Canada in March 2017. I am going to start working in a retail store till I get a proper job. The job may be 20 Hours/week. Considering my situation, income and all, what are my chances if I submit my applications to sponsor my wife in May/June 2017?

I think you should be fine. I came here as a PR 2016 jan, went back and got married nov 2016. As per my timeline everything is going okay so far. As far as i know when sponsoring spouse n dependents it doesnt matter how much u make. As a long as u r not on welfare or any form of social assistance.

Thanks for your reply; I appreciate it. However, I just checked the "Schedule A" form new version 2017-01 again, and that's what it says:
"I agree that by typing my name, I am electronically signing my application."

Yes, that's true. However, if you had gotten a request for Schedule A, this would have been part of the information in the email: "If you are not submitting this form through your online account (for example, if you are submitting it through the IRCC Webform or by mail), the form you submit must also have your handwritten signature in the signature section next to your typed or printed name. If you are submitting it by mail: print your validated form, and then sign (in handwriting with your usual signature) next to your typed or handwritten name in the signature section. If you are submitting this form as an attachment through the IRCC Webform: do the same as if you were submitting by mail, and then scan the copy with your signature. Submit the scanned copy with your signature as an attachment when using the webform."

I know, it's obnoxious. :( But some people have been asked to resubmit the form because it didn't have their handwritten signature, which means an extra delay.

Hi
I see you are done with medicals and yet you have dependants. I have read some where that dependants need medical wether they're accompanying or not. Was this the case with you? Are your dependants accompanying?
How did you go about the whole process?

I received SA today but nothing on both sponsor and applicants ecas has changed and nothing on applicants gckey has changed. Is this normal?

I am the sponsor. The dependents will be coming with the PA. All 3 went for medical exams at the same time. But it is true even if they are not coming they still need to do medical with the PA.

Hey there! Were you able to print the form?
I also used the latest version of Schedule A, and printing is not allowed.

I meant for the ones who didn't get the request through CIC and use the webfrom to send the Schedule A.

Anyone?

On ecas, did you check with the sponsor's UCI number? It should say, "decision made" under the sponsor's status.

Hey! It does say decision made. I just didn't know if it should change from this after I got my SA?

Also, it says the PA will receive instructions o fill out her schedule A IMM5669 within 5 business days if she hasn't already received it. How accurate is this time line? I have read of people waiting two weeks and not receiving it.

Thanks for the reply!
