Finally done with the forms and docs , what would the fastest way to send the Application in ? express post or courier ? and what is the SMS piloting?

Congrats! Courier is best. Depends on where you're sending it from but I went with FedEx. It only took one day and they guarantee a signature once its received.

Received in Mail on: Mar 08

Updated and sent back to CIC: Mar 9

Reason for it being sent back: Missing Sponsor's signature on IMM5532 page 2 of 7 (Relationship Information And Sponsorship Evaluation).

Totally my fault, was eager to send it as fast as possible that I forgot to re-read to see if everything was signed. Someone told me that they wouldn't send the entire package back because of just one missing signature; but unfortunately for me they did.

My spouse and I mailed my permanent resident application and supporting documents today, March 13, 2017. I am a citizen of the United States of America, and my spouse is a Canadian citizen. We both are residing currently in Canada. We used Canada Post's Xpresspost service to mail the application packet, which is scheduled to arrive in Mississauga within two days. We will keep readers on this forum updated as we receive any status changes.

We sincerely appreciate all of the help we have received on this forum. The posts and information here have been most valuable as we worked through the application process.

You have to send them a text in the first place in order to get the barcode page to print off. They'll send to the number you sent that text from.
