I never expect anything on Mondays since cic has a delay on their system.
I'm waiting for tomorrow bringing some good news

Same here. I have to say though it was good to see another American who submitted before I did didn't get SA until last week.

I agree as well, unless an email suddenly goes to my inbox today, Im expecting nothing at all till tomorrow.

Wow, lots of questions over the weekend.

Hi Folks,
Can you please advise, I am heading to India to get married and I had to resign my job as it is a 2 month leave and they were not ready to give me a paid vacation. My annual income is around 35000$. But since I am not having any Job at present or at the time of sending an application. will it create any problem.

Thank you. Have a nice weekend.
Would they not give you an unpaid leave of absence? It's not a problem, but I would suggest informing CIC to be on the safe side.

For Americans with AOR, it's a 50% chance of receiving your SA within a week. However, there are American cases where the combined Rec'd to SA still takes the posted 62-63 days.

If you had DM in eCAS, the odds are 98% that you have been approved, roughly equal to flipping a coin and calling it correctly 6 times in a row. I haven't actually heard of the process of a negative Decision Made, but I would assume you'd be contacted first with the option to withdraw before it was marked denied.

If you are getting an AOR/SA by normal mail, it can be up to 2 weeks to be delivered to your mailbox.

CIC doesn't work on weekends, but automated emails are processed in off-hours to reduce the system load (there are about 20,000 applications being dealt with at CPC-M at any one time, so anything that can be shifted to non-peak hours is).

Has your SA status changed in eCAS to DM or not yet?

No it still shows in process

Can anyone provide the telephone number to chase my outland application (calling from London, UK).

Many thanks in advance

I got a message on the CIC site stating that a decision has been made and a letter has been mailed on May 7th to me. I don't know what this decision is though, hopefully SA approval! I will update the spreadsheet with my info. If anyone knows the number I can call to find out more info that would be greatly appreciated!!!

Most likely means an approval, so congrats :D

The Call Centre can answer questions, in English and French, about Citizenship and Immigration (CIC) services and programs, or applications in process inside Canada.

Call Centre telephone number: 1-888-242‑2100

And a question: when did you sent your application and if your Ecas has updated today? :D

I hope you are right Dan! I will give them a call tomorrow as soon as they open, and if it is an SA I will update the spreadsheet then. My application was received on March 16th and it was sent to the Mississauga office, but our PR will be processed in Vienna. Looks like Ecas was updated today because I checked it over the weekend and just a few hours ago my husband asked me if I got an email but I didn't, just the update on Ecas.

Good to find someone with the same situation like you :)
They sent the letter in May 6th and no email had been sent.
hopefully I will find something in my mail box when I reach my house today !

Do you think calling them is a good idea?
I called them last Friday, May 8th, before the dtatus was changed online to DM. They didn tell me that the decision has been made and a lettet has been sent to you!

I have been in the same situation last week, the ecas status changed to DM dated April 30th it also said they sent a "mail", but I didn't get the SA email till May 7th, my guess is the status will always says they send mail, but if you've left your email on the form, you shall sill get the SA through email.

Although some people get SA emails before ecas status changes, the recent cases seem like CIC changes ecas before sending the SA email. Cheers all!!!

If I remember correctly from others and quote me if i'm wrong, PR holders are allowed short visits, 3 weeks? anything more puts your application in serious jepardy.

Hello :)

I just wonder where the 3 weeks vacation time frame come from ???

I never read anything that looks like this time in CIC website

Is this an assumption or a known fixed regular figure ?

thanks in Advance

Thanks for the info and congratulation.
I will wait till Thursday and will then call them if I don't receive anything via email or mail.

Hi guys, I have a quick question. My husband has received AOR for the applicantion and waiting for SA. It doesn't show they have received my medical examination on ecas But we did send it in. Is this normal ?
