for me, again no email. My e-Cas status only shows Application Received

Mine still "In process" but I don't really care about what Ecas says.
They have a hugh delay so...
Tomorrow (maybe saturday even) may be the day for us.
Let's wait a few more. ^^

My lawyer submitted all my documents on March 24th, and I asked her if there was any aor for me she said not yet, and earlier I tried it with my personal information (uci from my work visa, dob. Names. etc) I am able to log in to the ecas to access my file. It shows that they have received my file on the 23rd. And that's the only information shows on it. So I am just wondering if that is aor??

Yes your are passed the aor stage, your application has passed the completness check and got a number assigned!

As said above, yes.
At this point you can call CIC Call Centre to ask for you application number.

Received AOR on May 02.
Application received by cic on April 08.

Hi trin! We have exactly the same timeline, april 8 reeived at cpc m, may2 aor.
Do you have your SA yet or any change in ecas from in process? Thank you!

All the applicants whose visa office is NDVO...... GET READY.... The most painful and tiring time of our lifes have started..... Sorry to say this...but what to do? This NDVO they are still stuck with 2014 jully or august files and not sure if they are gona start 2015 files .now...i dont even find or see a single application of this year has been started by them ..... When i see the last years time line they have started the processing of the applications of 2014 in the month of august .........this is the only place where the applications are being delayed for such long time separating wife and husband... :'( :'(... Feeling worried ....and sad...

hi.... It means that your application have reached them and now they will check your eligiblity criteria for sponsrship approval...ya there is a possibility of asking more documents or resend any document if it is not clear..... But be assured till now i have not seen any such case where documents have been requested after aor has been sent..... All the best and gud luck

my experience regarding this point
I sent my application and received January 7th
they returned it March 21 without issuing AOR
which means they check all the documents first for any missing document. ...if complete issue the AOR if not return it to you to complete it .
mine was missing a sig. in one of the documents
I signed it and resent it and received March 26
....then... they sent me AOR April 28

Hi Everybody!!!
Anyone here same as my status? Landed as PR on jan2015..received pr card in 2 months. Submitted dependents passports mid of Jan2015. An email from CPVC says dependent's initial entry will be on mid May 2015.. More than 3 months of waiting for passports to get returned. No idea who to talk to or how to reach visa section regarding this matter. Its so annoying! Initial entry will expire soon and no passport with visa yet.
I sent ours via courier.
Anybody here same as my situation?

Yes that is correct my application received on 8th april, aor on May 02. Ecas shows SA in process on May 01. ☺

You realize there is an April thread thats going on as well correct? This is March applicants thread, though we are all in the same boat and a happy family, I'm simply pointing that out as well.
