what does it mean?police cert?I already sent it in apr if its police cert,please help!Thanks!

Have u done all the payments and send them the receipt with your info? Maybe they want an acknowledgment that payment has been made? :-X

Hi,I paid all and I know it's about the police cert now
Btw it's weird,since I got the police cert request at 12:51and a open on 13:09

And I actually sent the police cert on early may since I just called Hong Kong police and they told me they sent it in early May,and they think it's hkvo too lazy to double check the uci since I gave my husband's icon to hk police and they sent my police cert with that icon.but then I just got the mail on 12:51 with my uci so they r now requesting my police cert

I seriously dunno what to do how cos hk police refused to send it again n hkvo never answer phone calls,I just emailed them n hopefully they will reply soon

Oh great,at least you figured out what they want...how is it possible that they want it again? can hk police give it to you and then u can send it?

My wife received email from Singapore office asking for her Police certificate as well. We did first one in summer 2013, then mailed in 2nd one with an additional doc in May, 2014, and now they ask us for a 3rd one! I have sent email inquiry as well, asking if the first two are outdated or mistaken somehow.

There was also a request for notarized copy of divorce judgement for myself. So, for sure they are really reviewing our application the last week and a half. I don't mind sending in more documents, but having my pregnant wife make another trip to the police headquarters is something I would like to avoid if I can help it.

PS to Singapore applicants: April applicant just got Passport request. Hopefully we all see that soon as well.

I didn't have UCI at the time. I had sent it along with the IMM5540 form that they asked me to resend during the sponsor part of the application. I know they received it, because on one of the letters from Singapore recently, asking for proof I am in Canada, they said in letter "please provide proof you have returned to Canada at end of trip to Thailand in April 2014". They could only know I was visiting Thailand in April from that new form I sent, as I also provided a copy of my passport with thailand entry stamp (April) along with New updated police certificate. It was all in one small package sent in early May.

Wow!! Congrats Mikeymike! How long on average does Singapore request the passport after 'In Process'? It's good to hear from you on here ;D We have both been busy preparing and have been wondering how you and your wife are doing. My husband will be here in just over a week! So excited!!!

All the VOs seem to be working faster in general this year, I'm sure everyone will get decisions made by the end of 2014! Congrats to everyone who has been approved and good luck to everyone still waiting. Your time is coming soon too

Thanks! I checked the other Singapore applicants, it seemed to take about 2 weeks after In Process to get PPR. My wife is only going to plan to stay here a few weeks only after this news. Really happy your hubby will land soon!

Hey, yes i have not been active just busy getting everything ready for the trip..this weekend i will finally be there. And no news still...tomorrow will be 10 weeks after the interview and nothing, not even a change on ecas. But i am glad things have worked out for you and many other people on this thread.

My wife's application also went in process on Aug 22 and we are from Singapore VO as well My main concern now is about how and when we will receive her PPR because she is already in Canada as a visitor. We already changed her address. I think they will send the PPR to Canada? :-X

the ppr will come by email most likely. generally visa offices won't mail the passport out of the country they are in, so your wife will need to have a family member send it to her in canada if she's already here.
