Well lets just hope that our respective Visa Offices step up to the plate once we get finished with Stage 1! Not much we can do to change the speed of government bureaucracy :!

yes you are exactly right....and since they seem to be trickaling(?) out of Mississauga maybe the VO offices have had a chance to do catch up and aren't so swamped......have to look for all the positives we can.....

Got a letter from CIC that i have over paid the fees and they are sending me a refund of $60 in 6 to 8 weeks time. the letter didnt say anything about the approval but the letter had the 8 digits UCI number.

So long story short i decided to call CIC early in the morning just to find out whats going on as i was not hoping that CIC would say that my application got approved on JUNE 12TH.

my application was received on MARCH 9th. now i am not sure why i cant go on the website and check the status of my application with the help of UCI number and the RECEIPT number, do they take time to upload the decesion?.

Congratulations!!!! You will be able to check on line in a few days, seems they are a little slow updating the ecas site!!!

Please help, I don't know how to print out our skype conversations and emails, any suggestion how to arrange all the pictures needed to submit..thank you appreciate your replies..

For skype conversations, don't close the chat window when you are done chatting, keep it open, maximize the window and do a print screen (depending on your keyboard configuration), I have a laptop so its Fn (function) + Prt Sc for me. Could be different for you. Immediately after, open Paint and paste the picture there and save it as jpg. Print it. You can do the same with call history, video chats etc. Set up your print configuration so that your taskbar is included in the picture to provide further evidence of time and date.

how do you all get someone when you call, I have tried for the last 3 days and they just hang up on me saying no one can answer the call?

just have to keep calling and calling.....usually the first couple of times I call I get the hang up and then the 3rd or 4th time I am in the waiting que.....this morning my first call went through but I was on hold 10 minutes.......calling at 8:00am seems to be the best....and they say thursday and friday mornings are better to call.........

Call them between 8 and 8 30 in the morning. the call centre agents are SUPER NICE and they really give you all the info they can.

There's really no such thing as Canadian time lol. There's 4 time zones here. But it's Eastern Time Zone to call at 8 am.

Also, while there ARE some nice call centre agents, some of them are downright rude and nasty. Just to warn people.
