We completed the new Appendix A with both her info and mine...we also wernt sure...either way it doesn't seem to matter much..we didnt prepay for the return...DHL simply collected at point of delivery..they'll return it to the address on file..unless you make a last minute change of address...by way of "Case Specific Inquiry".

Doesn't make too much sense but for whatever reason they seem to almost always ask for it....
Thanks

Congrats Step, hope God will also make it for us before my husband's bday, our meds is 1 year on June 10, they didn't ask for our remed anyway :)...

Sent all docs they asked for last May 22 via DHL, successfully delivered as per tracking May 23...

To those still waiting for PPR, never doubt God's mercy, He is always on time...

God bless us all :) :) :)

CEM seems to be moving apps quickly now,the additional docs request will add a little to the wait.
But who knows, it will happen when you least expect it. From there everything happens at a fast pace.
Hang in there, not too much longer now.

I certainly hope so Step, my wife is really getting quite ancy waiting for this final leg of this long, long journey.
MarkandElvie, keep an eye on E-CAS that's the first sign we had of app being looked at.
I notice on E-CAS the first part of May: Medicals Received
May21 showed In Process as of May 20.
May 29 received phone call from CEM. PPR and Appendix A within 10 days for VISA Issuance.

Yes Step, I seen at the very beginning of April it says medical results received, they have her passport and appendix A along but still there is nothing in E-CAS nor DM. Just hoping and waiting now, both my wife and I are getting a little anxious.

Understandable, we too are anxious. Until we have VISA in hand, we won't rest. CIC gave a 10 day window to comply, I have a feeling it will come after that.

I hope it comes this week for you, get your visa in hand and get you and your wife together and get on with your lives together. I'm hoping for you my friend. :)

Sent our application to the Miss. office from Japan over a month ago, but I still can't log-in online to check the status of my application. I noticed they upped the average time to 47 days. Has anyone else submitted their app. to Miss. sometime in the past month or two? Can you log in?

Hi. We sent ours in to canada in December last year. It took a long time before I could log on. I wasn't able to until after I received the sponsorship approval and used the application code listed there. First thing you should see is the email from them accepting (I hope!) you're sponsorship.

Good luck.

Question about CFO Sticker. My wife previously took the seminar in 2013 in Cebu City. CFO gave her a certificate saying she completed seminar.
Do we just have to present this certificate to any CFO Office to obtain sticker once she has COPR?

Or does she have to retake seminar?

Thanks in Advance.

Hello members,

I have a question regarding the point of entry. Would it be okay to enter Canada for the first time via Vancouver airport, stay in BC for a week and have my PR card sent to Toronto (My intended place of residence) Or do I really have to enter via Toronto airport?

Thanks!

From what I understand you can enter at any port.First port of entry, if Vancouver the first you should have no problems. Once you clear Immigration you are free to go anywhere in Canada.

I don't think she needs to redo the seminar. Just show the certificate and they will issue the sticker. She had that last year, its not like if it was 5 years ago. My wife also took the seminar upfront and I don't expect her to have to redo that.

hello guys!

I just have a question :)

My son arrived here in Canada last month under a student permit...

His passport was requested by Canadian Embassy in Manila for his PR application under Spousal Sponsorship Inland (he is a dependent).
Now, on the Appendix A, on the " address where your passport can be returned by courier collect " I put our Canada address already since he is here now.

Now my dumb question is, are they really going to send the passport back here ? maybe via DHL? or should I have sent them a "return" envelope or something? Sorry to ask this but this Inland/Outland process is confusing me. I know I should have asked the forum first before I submitted the passport just so I have peace of mind. :)

Thank you guys!

All she has to do Step is take the certificate to CFO to show she has completed the seminar, there they will give her the sticker. She may want to all the CFO before going, just in case she needs to make an appointment.
