So, turns out my SA confirmation was sent out in July 2013 ... to where, I dunno.
Call the CIC and the dude confirmed I've been approved (yippee)
He said it was sent to my email address but I never got it. Must have been eaten by the Interwebs.
Now the question is ... when's the next step gonna happen?

Follow the spreadsheet that scos has. You will see people getting PPR who had SA about they same time as you. This will be at least 4 months most probably more.

I would also make sure that CIC has the right email address. You wouldn't want the next email being missed.

MANILA MANILA! all im saying is its not all that scary in Mindanao unless you ALLOW ABS CBN AND GMA reporting to scare you from going there.. or better yet CNN..

if anything im more scared to go to Manila because people there are unpredictable..

Tagum is right.. Mindanao is expensive if you buy the department store clothes (i never buy department store clothes in the PHILIPPINES).. i buy what the locals make because that you can never buy in Canada..

in response to the author...i think you should spread your wealth or middle class a little and go to Mindanao and help the kids out down there. instead of taking it personal with lady cranberries who felt offended by how privileged you talk about your ability to afford the better things in life..

Yeah living manila is very unpredictable bad things could happen anytime.. Well i really didnt mean to be mean with crab just that i felt provoked on her replies like .. Yah i would usually agree with you and be one of the first ones saying that, but this guy is way over the line with his comments and insults to other members. He comes across like a spoiled kid who has no concept of decency. He has said a lot of stupid (expletive deleted) and should be called out on it.

People don't come to these forums so some idiot like that can get his rocks off putting down other people, they come here for support. We all have a lot of stress with this process and our community doesn't need people like him making it harder on others.

Now my dad, he's all for non-violence as much as possible, he tried his best to teach me his zen ways. I'm trying to channel my dad's peaceful aura. 8)

I had to reassure him that PPR=/=visa yet and that we had a few weeks to spend time together. Now that the strike's on, prolly months. ???

My wife says a middleclass family would need to earn at least 100000 Php a month at least to be considered middleclass.

We would say that is even more than plenty enough. Figure our relatives (one family of five) household income absolutely no more than 50,000 (but investing in short term loans to others etc.) and they are VERY "middle class" in my opinion.

Everybody deserves a certain level of respect as an individual. Without knowing someone you should at least be polite and let them have their privacy, etc. As you get to know them then that level of respect will change. Some will go up (like my respect for Cranberries in not letting herself be intimidated) and some will go down (like yours for being an a**).

And why bring Tagum into it? Because you insulted him. You said he likes to get into flame wars because he enjoys it. That is a pretty nasty accusation. From what I have seen, Tagum is the type that doesn't take cr*p from people so when you say something that offends him you will hear it.
