I found this pic on the PAFSO facebook page, (a VO office - not sure which one) looks like our apps are in safe hands. I think I see the self in the back corner.

For the husbands or wives who are being sponsored:

DID you folks write a lengthy essay on how you met, loved and genuinely want to be with your significant other?

Hi again. They say this is highly recommended, but we personally didn't submit any essay about our rel.
Altho, on the question on how our relationship grow, I think I used one whole sheet of paper to answer it.

Hello Everyone .. about to embark on what looks like a real adventure :) Can anyone tell me if you've had a certified panel physician office (Cebu)
tell you that you need to provide a referral letter from the consulate Cebu before making the appointment for the medical ????

They also require visa type photographs , which I believed the new e-medical certified panel physicians were to take onsite . What type of receipt should they be giving me when the medical is completed ?

Thanks in advance ...

HI Iay,

Thanks for being awesome at responding to my questions in a light speed manner. I can say that my thoughts are now firmly grounded as there could be many things that can happen after step 2.

So when we sponsors are approved, you mean to say CIC has not or even opened my wife's application just to see if its complete?
They have basically checked my file just to see if i have means and capacity to sponsor her?

I have no exact answer to this. But I believe, CPC-M would check the our files if it has everything in the document checklist and then proceed with Sponsorship approval once everything is intact.

For specific requirements like for example in Manila, AOM (Advisory on Marriages), CPC-M wouldn't really return packages with this kind of deficiency. I guess, as long as we submit the basic IMM forms needed, they will not return packages, and will leave it to the VO to request additional docs in Stage 2, if needed in the future :)

And oh, you're welcome.. I haven't been posting for a while. Just got bored here at work, and thought of checking the forum. :D

My wife never had to get a referal letter for her medical appointment--
She just showed up there with the required documents Ie that Medical certificate form and photographs

That's a sigh of relief-- i got the email from them today about the SA at 12 noon and i was jumping up and down in the office. I called my wife five minutes later but she wasn't as ex tactic as i thought she should be-- I guess shes probably reading the threads that the real deal processing starts at stage 2.

Are you the one sponsoring of or being sponsored?

The medical certificate form you are referring to is that the appendix c ,, I read that since the new e-medical came out we no longer need it ?

You need to enclose the IMM form for medical that the doctor will give you. They will send the results to CEM but you will need to attach the proof of medicals with your application.
