I get the same questions from my wife, at least 3 times a week.LOLMarkandElvie said:Yes I have heard that before that ECAS is not very reliable, but as my wife sits and waits in Makati she has a lot of questions in which I'm trying to answer to best of my ability. As I have mentioned I have seen some people get their visa's via courier and their ECAS never changed, their visas just showed up.
cause of delay??Daantaat said:My husband's status changed to Decision Made in ECAS today. I hope that means his visa is on the way!!
Well they've had her passport since the end of April, but no news as of yet not even in ECAS but as you mentioned before, ECAS is unreliable, depending on the VO. All I can hope is that no news is good news at this point.Step said:I get the same questions from my wife, at least 3 times a week.LOL
Being your wife is close to embassy many just get a phone call to bring passport to Embassy for VISA.
Happens very fast.
Oh, I don't know.... maybe it had something to do with closing the Seoul visa office, which had a 9 month waiting period, and combining it with Manilla, Japan, and a whole bunch of other countries, increasing the wait time to 14 months. Or maybe it had something to do with how many Philippine people were in line ahead of us and processed before us. Hard to say. At any rate, we're a month over the 14 month processing timeline, so I guess we should just be happy we're not waiting longer. :trewmenn said:cause of delay??
I think at the point you are at no news is definitely good news. Nothing more needed to process.MarkandElvie said:Well they've had her passport since the end of April, but no news as of yet not even in ECAS but as you mentioned before, ECAS is unreliable, depending on the VO. I like the sounds of that Step, its going to be so nice to finally have my wife here with me to start our life here in Canada. She's really chomping at the bit to get going and I'm certain your wife is as well. Good Luck my friend, hopefully we'll get the good news for both of us soon.Step said:I think at the point you are at no news is definitely good news. Nothing more needed to process.
