Does this mean you could get a remedical without waiting for the request? Since it says on the GCMS that you need to start one?

I think the doctors won't do that.. people in the Tagalog thread said after you've done one they will not allow another without a request. I think with re-medical they ask for specific things - and you have to print out a form that they will email to you.

And you're always welcome to visit, or crash 8) Do you guys have the cherry trees out yet? Vancouver is always a few weeks behind us in flowers blooming.

Hello everyone.... I,m so happy our application was easy... just waiting 4 months for our NSO papers for marriage is what held us up and by then the CEM changed it from 9 months to 11 then to 12 while waiting....no children between the both of us so the imm0008 was short by removing dependents... anyways ...Steph... you should get a DM very soon... and I do think alot are getting PPR,s that don,t follow the sheet....I,m hoping for a PPR the week of April 15th... thats over 180 days... and soon faster for us all...I see one of the applicants has had their passport held by the CEM for over 2 months... what the hell do they need your passport for over 2 months... just think...soon we won,t have to count down or look at a sheet for our lifes....lets just hope the CEM does not change the no.s to 15 months... because they are only taking 30 days in mississauga... that will put everyone on the same day...I bet they will not give out 30 PPR,s in one day.... take care to you all soon this SH))))It will be over....

I heard somebody say that St Lukes asked for a photocopy of their passport page.. so I would recommend keeping one on file.

Our medicals expired almost 2 years ago.. then I checked the GCMS, it said a few things:

Medical - Not Started (latest)
IMM1017 provided are expired
CSCD not entered, wrong visa office on IMM1017 (oldest)

So I guess that means it's okay.. we will need a new one. Hopefully not for the dependents though, it was very tough to get them for 2 days from their un-cooperative Mom. It's not really fair that they opened our application after the medicals expired. If it had been opened within 30 days like it was supposed to be, they would have been still valid.

And hi Iay.. I have had a really busy weekend too. I worked every single day.. today too. The weather in Victoria is unbelievable this weekend.

I am nearly apoplectic about the additional cost we have to incur because the VO's cannot process our applications in time. I plan on in voicing the additional costs back to CIC once this thing is over. Why should I have to pay more for the same service? Not my fault that they cannot meet demand. I never asked them to shut down the Seoul VO.
They don't pay me back I will sue the government in small claims court.

They have had my wifes passport for 11 months now and i expect at least 3 more months b4 DM. 1 little 4 year old boy cant make that much difference in an application, there is no reason they cant send any mail by courier and have it COD, how much is it any way 150 pesos compared to all the other expenses lol, they are just completely incompetent there 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) yes if i told one of my clients i tried to contact him 7 months ago you know where id be in the unemployment line, not now but 6 montths ago because they would of found a way to contact my boss and find out what the status was on thier job. :-* :-* :-* :-* :-* :-* :-* :-* :-* :-* :-* :-*

I called CIC asking if we could speed up the process by getting the medical and sending it in. They told me we would need the 1017 form that they would mail out when they request the re-medical. Without that we couldn't get the testing done. So we have to wait till we were asked.

Well, looks like those applying this year will have things much easier.

In 2012 we had the stage 1 times being from 14 days minimum, 167 days maximum, with an average of 71 days and 80% done after 95 days.

So far in 2013 we have 11 days min, 34 days max. And average 23 days with 80% done in 28 days. Must be nice!

So looks like 2013 applications should be 2-3 months faster overall (not counting more potential messing up in Mississauga or the VOs).

On Sunday we paid at Western Union the fee of P450 which included the NSO fee of P195 and delivery. Just now the Cenomar was delivered by Air21 to our door.

I just contacted ecensus as to why they didn't deliver yet and they told me they attempted delivery over a week ago and nobody was home. They said they would tell us IF the parcel is reposted!

There's only one person living in the house.. how can he even take a shower or go to the store if he's waiting for a parcel. He said he was there at the time. They don't tell us when they expect to deliver, and it seems like they don't try very hard either! I'm so mad at them.. he's in the doghouse too 3

Anyways, yesterday I ordered another one with citizen services, all online. There was a form to fill out and a live chat, and they accept credit cards so I could pay online and skip him having to go pay it somewhere which would probably take up a whole day.
