Yeah! I can find our place clearly on Google Maps. But every time we order Pizza, 2 hours later, cold pizza, the driver was just driving circles around the subdivision. Finally we have to tell them to meet us at the basketball court. They ask what colour our gate is.. does it make sense to say rust coloured? Look for the house with a car, 3 dogs and a herd of wild cats and a huge eggplant tree and jackfruit tree. Right past the useless neighbour listening to loud music playing cards around a tiny plastic table and horking loudly. Across the road from a boarded up sari-sari store. It's the street they forgot to pave. Jeez :-X

well did any of you see the news.... Jason Kenney said things are moving 40% faster.... but 40% slower in Manila... when we applied it was 9 months... now 12... and if you notice his education was done in San Francisco.... now is Minister of Immigration...How the hell can he say it,s moving faster... and did you know 38% of Brampton, Ont are not Canadian or speak english.....the 40% faster are the PR,s sponsoring their familes on the super visa!!!!...So as a Canadian... just sit back and wait .... My wifes 51st birthday is today... second one I have missed.... The 40% faster that he refers to is the economic classes. Nominee and FSW processing time are half what they were this time last year.
Harper had to wait a year to be reunited with his pandas so I guess he figures thats the best the rest of us get. Though they are only temporary work permits......and they are only here to breed.......is it possible that the Prime Minister is the head of a panda sex trade ring???

Not really sure how Philpost works. I'm planning to take the tour next visit maybe that will help. My wife's address sounds more like directions than an address...."BlahBlah City, behind BlahBlah shopping mall, 4th house of the left side with the new windows; not the house with the barking dog and the cat with 3 legs, Philippines".

my wife received her 1st letter may 10,2012 dated march22, 2012 with a 45 day return for docs, lol now on feb23,2013 she gets a email for docs and it states in bold letters SENT PREVIOUSLY AUGUST 1,2012, It was just jan24,2013 they told the MP the only requirement was they were waiting for was the AOM, now they have new doc request that they say were asked for in august BULL*censored word*

WOW!!! your sure having a problem... Were you not just in Manila? Could you have not gone to the CEM and straigten this manner out... I thought we were able to go to our embassy as a Canadian citizen... Hope it all works out for you....

Paid a visit to the Liberal MLA responsible for immigration and had a rant to one of his staff. Hopefully they will be able to give me an update on the status of my wife's application.
I did my best to remain as calm as I could but I get tired of hearing that her application is still within normal processing times when 98% of the May applicants have landed. I'm getting the feeling that maybe more documents are missing from the application then just what was flagged during the stage 1 process. If CIC forwarded it missing other documents I will be pissed beyond words.

yES I WAS JUST IN MANILA LEFT ON MARCH 12, BUT THEY WONT ENTERTAIN US, I AM JUST NOW OVER THE 12 MONTHS ON MARCH 20, NO SENSE IN EMAILING THEM THEY WONT RESPOND, JUST WAIT UNTIL THE 45 DAYS FROM FEB 23 WHEN SHE GOT HER REQUEST FOR A WRITTEN EXPLANATION, THAT WILL BE APRIL 7 SOMETHING SHOULD HAPPEN TO OUR FILE AGAIN THEN, MY MP was going to check on march 4 but i requested thay not do so then as we had just returned our written explanation a few days prior, and asked that they could help me at a later time. YOU GOT NO IDEA HOW IT FEELS TO SEE APPLICANTS FROM JULY AND AUGUST GETTING PUSHED THROUGH TO SAVE THIER MEDICALS WHILE OUR APPLICATIONS SETS ON THE TOP SHELF.

Whats an AOM?

RUH-ROH.. if you don't know what an AOM is, you had better get your wife to order one now. It's the opposite of a CENOMAR, it can only be obtained by ordering a CENOMAR from the NSO, if you're married you will get an AOM - or Advisory on Marriage.

I feel so stupid that I had been reading about AOM's the whole time and never thought my partner would have to get one.
