Hello everyone... all I,m saying is you should be a Canadian citizen to sponsor your spouse...It should be like America.... if Canada had a I-129 like the state we could have our spouse live with us while they wait for their Visa... they can,t work but be able to stay with your spouse in your country... I have a couple that live in my building in Hamilton and she sponsored her husband and she is a perm res... he was approved and landed in Canada in 6 months... I,m Canadian and have to wait till whenever the CEM decides I can sleep with my wife... thats crazy.... and no visitors visa for her even though they no she has to go back to hand in her PPR ...when ever that comes...they change the time limit every 3 months... will be so glad when this bull @@@@ is over then we can live our life...hope it all goes fast for all of us....CanadianJeepGuy said:Good point but if citizens' spousal applications were processed by a different office then the applications of the PR and the citizen would never be competing for process placement. PR applications compete with PR applications; citizen applications compete with citizen applications.
