hello everyone

my ecas says decision made for both SA approval and permanent residence. now i am worried because we received no ppr request at all and now its decision made. does this mean we are denied? help pls

Hi Zadel,

If I remember correctly - you're M-F and you have the option or ability to get married but you didn't? Is that correct? Honestly if that's the case I don't think you qualify for Conjugal. If it's possible to marry by one partner travelling to the Philippines you have to do it.

I called CIC and apparently since i'm the sponsor i no longer have a file online.. i will just have to wait until the visa office in manila contacts my wife with a new client ID pertaining to her application

Perhaps, the ecas is not yet updated with the applicant's info. Been checking ecas using my husband's UCI-- he's the sponsor too.

Yes im married to him for 3 years now. Im just waiting for the letter from CEM to know exactly the reasons.

Is your husband a foreigner? Did you get your GCMS notes yet?

Did you just get sponsor approval? That's what ECAS does before they load the info. Whatever you do, don't tick that box!

I thought the UCI was common between the Sponsor and the Sponsee...its not the same number? Can any "old timers' please confirm this?

Hi Zadel, I'm confused again.. I thought you posted about your PPR in January?

Not the same. But if you access ecas using the sponsor's uci, ull see both the sponsor and applicant's info.

Did you just get sponsor approval? That's what ECAS does before they load the info. Whatever you do, don't tick that box!

You mean it goes away? I still have it too.

Make sure when you use a UCI that you use the birthdate and other details for that person as well.

Nah, it's just blank with the box.. so it looks like the box is the main feature

The PPR finally came and the long wait killed my excitement for it. Anyway, I got approved October 24 but according to the letter, CEM received the application on December 10. Wonder why it took that long. ???

I know this has been discussed but it's tough to check back - do we have to submit photos again? And if so, how many?

Congrats! If cem is asking for it then just send them anyway. Anyways, I dont know why they are requesting so many and just using only 1pc. I send them 9pcs and they return 8pcs the other one is on the copr.

Which one is the COPR - is it the one in your passport? Because ours doesn't have a picture.
