The PPR finally came and the long wait killed my excitement for it. Anyway, I got approved October 24 but according to the letter, CEM received the application on December 10. Wonder why it took that long. ???

I know this has been discussed but it's tough to check back - do we have to submit photos again? And if so, how many?

The MP said its our age difference and the frequency of his visit. That's why she advised my husband to come visit me as soon as possible :'(

How many times has he visited? And what additional proofs have you been sending?

Congrats! I think most people submit photos again. Maybe 2 or 3? Don't forget to print the PPR letter and include it in the package

You have to be the master of carry-on! As a woman you get a purse, a bonus, so you can have 1 backpack or rolling carryon, 1 purse, 1 laptop carried separately, and 1 book carried separately. Purses can be deceptively heavy I always stuff my heaviest items in the purse, then the carry on.. Jeans are surprisingly heavy too.

On my trip to Philippines and back, I had 25kgs of hand carry.

My husband got a call from our MP yesterday and it was really frustrating to know that again the VO is not satisfied with the additional docs that we submitted for the third time. She said that the VO is in doubt of our relationship. CEM advised me to do my medical again for this reason I guess not to have my visa soon but for them to extend my application more. Im so drained of all these :'( She said that they might call me for an interview. When she called my husband 2 weeks ago she said that I just need to redo my medical and everything is ok just need to wait for one month for my visa after my remed. We just dont understand why she said it. She said we just need to wait for another letter from CEM by June and we should not mention anything to CEM about her telling us about the status of our application which she informed us in advance. We just dont know what to do more..My husband is looking for an immigration lawyer now this is the solution that we have in mind for now :'( it's really damaging us emotionally with all the stress and frustrations...:'(

So sorry to hear this sis. I can't imagine being in that kind of situation and still be sane. I hope everything will workout for you and your husband

Yeah, ours was probably received by CEM the same time, which will explain the late PPR.

I repeated to my husband over and over again what needs to be in that darn envelope before he drops it off. Or else.... :-\

Many here said 9 when we asked, we had already submitted 8. And Steph enlightened us all suggesting that if you read the letter carefully, perhaps "none" are required - watching carefully for an "x" beside (or NOT) the form letter line that reads 'Appendix _' (for photos).

That was my logic too - not in the list; not required. But we never know with CEM, so in this case, giving them more wouldn't hurt (I hope).

I don't think that was me, but I will take the credit! I want to see what will happen if somebody doesn't submit photos. But nobody wants to be the guinea pig.

Yeah! They did that to us too. I ended up creating a gmail address for that wrong one. I should have just left it at that, much easier. It took a lot of emails to confirm the proper address.
