Last time I paid for a third bag with Cathay, it was $150 plus tax. That was from Toronto to Manila.

I am flying back now, sitting in Hong Kong. I just read the latest, and I am such a idiot, I never include the printed out letter when I sent in the passports. I never saw that last line! I am so worried now. I just emailed them to let me know how to get it to them so mad at myself, I am pretty good at making sure everything is right.... Must have been the jet lag

oh, I'm Toronto bound too. so i should not pay more than $200? I emailed them last time, and they said it's $150, but i was kinda worried it'll be more. my husband wants me to take manila-hk-toronto via cathay too. so was it 23kg for your 3rd bag?

you can just send the letter via courier, i know someone who forgot about that too. did you include the file number when you send the passport? i dont think it'll be a big deal. was thinking they just want a copy of the letter so they can just scan the barcode to open the file.

Ya, I put file number and UCI number in and on the envelop. I hope it's not an issue. I booked a flight for June 21 to July 2 awhile ago, and was hoping in a perfect world I could bring them all home with me. I am afraid I might have just screwed that dream/hope up

My third bag was only 15kg, but from what I understand any weight up to 23 is $150. I have been bring some of her stuff back with me each trip to ease the final move. I told just the important stuff, any clothes ect we will buy new here. I want her to go shopping to start fresh. On this trip I took her to mall of Asia and let her wild. I want her to have fun when she gets here.

I was hoping my status with Cathay would get me some extra allowance, but of course no. I have flown them a lot this year and the benefits of being a gold member with them is very little

Oh no! If he's anything like mine he thinks the purse is a place to keep all his things he doesn't want in his pocket! Then he impatiently asks me to hand him the things he put there. I'm not responsible for anything put in the purse! It's like a black hole.. so hard to find things in there.

they should be able to find your file even without the copy of letter. i dont think it'll be much of an issue. if you sent them an email, perhaps you'll get a response from them. got one when i tried to update my phone number. we should have our visa soon [keeping my fingers crossed], and who knows, i might be sitting next to your family ;D

Yes sis, then you can leave the passport details blank according to the others, but i filled out mine.

Dont buy the tickets for the visa holders until they have the visa,,,,,,that will just cause more stress,,,,,theres alays a HITCH at the end
