It was chosen because I'm so lucky to have found my wife!

Always in the last place that you look ;) .. Really happy for you.. now for Steph and CJG

I'm happy to report this, as it gives them an indication based on re-medical processing.

eCAS changed to medical results received exactly 2 weeks after the doctors appointment.

Then it was...bang...bang...bang.

CJG will get theirs probably a little sooner (due to revised med reqs)....and Steph is only a couple days off from our re-medical timeline.

I have to say that without the timeline reports on this forum....jeeze....I don't know how much harder it would have been....but it's really the only indication for us as we're all left in the dark for so long.

Our timeline shows a broken trend in Decision made from re-med request...its quicker. So I think that's good news for everyone with requests....It means your just a month off.

Cheers!

Sorry for the delay in replying to your success here Lucky. I was on Skype with the Mrs. She sends her congrats as well. No change for us from "In Process" yet. Her re-med was done this past Monday and her passport and Appendix A arrived yesterday. Two more weeks would be awesome. I'd like to get her in June if that ends up possible. May 15th will be the 1 month anniversary from her re-med request and tomorrow is the 1 year anniversary of our application being received and then butchered by CIC. I thinking of buying a cake and then shredding it with my weedwacker to celebrate.

No worries buddy.....based on my experience....2 weeks from last Monday it should be done deal.

Thanks to you and your wife!

We're coming up to the one year of our original application too. I'd say if your ready to go at a moments notice, should be last week of May...That's purely based on the medical date.

Cheers!

That's a nice feeling to finally get that monkey off your back. I will have to work something out with the Post Office but I think I can get a week unpaid special leave to go out and get her. She has already got her stuff boxed up to send here.

Yeah, I think a remed means you're approved! Congrats!
Just got an email for my remed today and my medical has expired last jan 31. After submitting my medical results, is it guatanteed that i may received my visa after? Im getting skeptical now:(

Thanks steph!:)

Forgot that my weedwacker got ripped off last November when my garage was broken into. I could just get a cake and kick it.

Yes, I think so! Otherwise, it would be interview and then a medical if you're approved.

It seems that they would not ask for a remed if you hadn't already been approved for your visa.

Congrats Lucky! No more ECAS, how great is that...

But you know that you will eventually suffer withdrawals from all this excitement. But CIC has a cure for that. It's called the citizenship application. ;D

I think we should start a new line of inquiry: good places for shipping belongings and best flight prices.

June 6, MNL-YVR is $640, and about 16 hours flight. They have ones for $614 but with an 11 hour layover in Seoul.
