Good morning ladies!

I put the topcoat in my fingernails last night so I could have sparkly sexy nails.

But apparently it wasn't totally dry. I now have sparkly nails with sheet imprint on them :-[ :'(

That makes them unique!

It's actually rather shameful reading on the plight of the First Nations people in Canada.

History continues to be written by the victor, even when such victories come from genocide, germ warfare and other acts for which someone asking to come to Canada as an immigrant would be refused. I guess it's OK if you're already in Canada.

i totally agree with you on that, especially considering that Canadian immigration policy began with overt racism and sexism... a fact we conveniently ignore in favour of our current multiculturalism policies.

If it makes you feel any better, Canada has the best record and least racist policies (historically) out of the USA, Australia, and Canada. I had to do a research paper for my university classes. I did mine on Canadian immigration.

Human history is full of racism, sexism, genocide, wars, etc. I don't think we are really as enlightened as we think. Individuals, yes. Humanity overall, no.

It was perfect last night. Only two nails with any bubbles.

I fix it this morning with one thin coat. Now it's covered in bubbles! All ten nails. GRRRR!

It's a good thing I'm only doing this so I can grow them out. I bought some of that peel and stick 'nail polish' I want to try, but when my nails are pretty and long.

Btw, when I say long, I mean super long for most people. I got blessed with really strong nails. My thumbs especially can growth a full inch long without breaking if I let them.

Yes, Canada has a better track record, but as I like to think of it: just because you poop less doesn't mean it doesn't stink!

i think I wash my hands too much. no nail polish can hold up for more than a few days, unless it's OPI. then it lasts almost a week without chipping.

I'm jealous of your ability to grow strong, healthy nails!

I absolutely hate when nothing goes right.. I don't know what I am going to do with limited phone time.. Smart Ms. M left her phone charger at home and can only charge it in the truck... gonna be a long week.. be interesting to see how I survive!!

I'm having an intensely low period for the last few weeks and i think its the first time ive outright lied to the Mr about my feelings to spare his. To make matters worse, I can't get ahold of my husband tonight. I'm trying not to worry but it's very unlike him.

I need a spa day too!! I started reading this book.. The non-runner's marathon guide for women. I'm excited to start running again. I just don't know how to do it in slush.

You are right about surviving.. where there is a will there is a way!!! Its the first time I won't be able to talk to Mr. M for more than a day or two at a time.. could be interesting!!

I think there may be something in the air.. because I was in the same boat.. Really low and overwhelmed and somethings just didn't give with Mr. M. So I hear ya sister on that one!! Here's hope that running and relaxing makes it a little easier and you find your groove!!! And when that doesn't happen, you can come vent to us.. the ladies and gents in the room are always around for ya!! :-*
