Our Ohio licenses would list the birthdate in red if it was under 21 and black if over.

The more I watch TV, the more I wonder where people learned to pronounce words. For a bilingual French country, they sure botch some words. Maybe this is why the Quebecers are so mad all the time :P

From tv duh! :P

And I just heard the new Juicy Fruit commercial... that song will be embedded into my brain now :-\

It's hard to tell if they're advertizing gum or oral sex.

"That taste is going to move you when you pop it in your mouth."

Strangely my husband doesn't hear what I hear in the song :P

Tony likes to mute the tv during that time :P

We watched an episode of Canda's Greatest Know It All. They had the world record holder in speed knitting on the show to each them how to knit in the elimination round.

Hi ladies,
To watch American Netflix, Hulu, etc, I just use unblock-us.com
(it even works for british ibbc player!)
I think there's a free trial.. but I pay $5 a month, and it seems to be pretty unlimited in that my partner can use it in the Phlippines to have access to our Netflix, and I can use it same time in Canada.. and my Dad can use it as well. All on different devices. I even have my guy's iphone set up on it too. You can either set up all your devices or program your router. With the Netflix option on their website you can handpick your country.. cool since I found movies like Hunger Games on the Brazillian Netflix. Since I discovered it works for the British iBBC player it's been awesome.. I really got into the series "Dancing on the Edge" and the comedy "Miranda"
There's other free online services.. like hotspot shield. But for me $5 a month is worth it for all the options!

I got a feeling we got a few couples in this room who can give the world record knitter a run for her money... Even if it is the pull the needle out kinda stitch!

That only works if you're perfect at it!! :P

Good luck! There will probably be a rush of you all getting news at once.

I thought I had some good news Friday, got an email from CIC forwarded to me at work. Unfortunately it was because the unit numbers on my application and where to send the COPR documents didn't match. Seems my case manager never updated them when I moved. And his reply was damn snotty when I pointed that out, with copies of the email I sent him at the time and his response. I'll be mentioning that for certain when I get the "How did we do?" email after it's all done.

Spent most of the rest of the weekend with a stomach bug, finally stopped stopped throwing up just in time to get ready to go back to work. Sometimes if it wasn't for bad luck... lol

That's going to be one scathing feedback email. The COPR is provably the single most important document in the entire process!

Also thanks for the good luck. My husband recently went back to India due to his UK visa expiring soon and he's been asking me every day if there's been any update. aahh...

I know how that feels. I haven't seen my wife in over a year and it gets very lonely at times.

And to be fair, we've been very happy with our lawyer up until now, (he's the one who sponsors this board actually), but the guy who's handled our case since my wife got sponsorship approval has left a lot to be desired.
