Where is everyone? Are the Super Bowl parties that exciting?

I'm here..

I'm a hockey guy, and couldn't care less for the Super Bowl. But because of the way they completely killed the season, I have no appetite for hockey, either. Nevertheless, even though I don't care about football, I still have a house full of moochers (errr...I mean...dear, dear friends) at the moment who are watching it here. I brought in freshly-slaughtered chicken and there are about 12 different batches of sauce being cooked in the kitchen as I write this. A good chunk of the lower house smells like a restaurant.

So true.

And I think I just got into an argument with my brother in law.

Yep. I know I did. I'm crying. I'd say so

He made you cry?? Over what?

Tell him not to make me come over there, because the waxing he would receive would NOT be a pleasant experience. At all.

Sir Amikety save me from my problems too please!
I'm having a bad weekend. I am in a bad mood and I've been crying too. Why do we need to cry. How come men can hide it better than girls. I hate being to vulnerable.

Crying isn't a sign of weakness. It's a way to handle your frustrations. Some guys punch holes in walls instead. Others (male and female) do drugs or get drunk. Think about it. Crying is actually a positive way to vent frustrations. It also envokes chemicals in your brain to help you relax and release tension. Don't feel bad because you cry. You need to let it out.

That being said, I'll totally chop someone up for you. Just point.

Men are taught not to express emotions and women are encouraged to be emotional because it's their supposed nature. They've only learned how to hide it because crying is equated with girlishness which is associated with weakness which is not what boys should be (I don't agree with this). They're subtle things we pick up on while growing up but men and women both cry because it's natural. It's an emotional expression, not a sign of weakness!!!

Seriously? I think I was going crazy yesterday. My head is gonna explode. My hubby thinks that I should just pack my stuff and stay with him for a few months. Right now in this moment I don't feel ready to just quit my job ad sell my things and all. I can't decide that overnight. What's sad is that the root of my problems has to do with his family. I feel like moving there would be like going to the crocodiles. It sounds horrible to even say that but I feel that way. I wish it were just the two of us. Things work great that way. :'(

Yeh seriously. :-X

It's not just you lunas. It happens to me too.

I used to think it was just me but I'm beginning to realize that it's quite normal to have a "crazy" attack when the emotions are so high you can feel it bubbling out of your ears and a$$!!

PS
You are not wrong for feeling. It's just how you feel and you're being honest about it.

BAHAHAHA

Ohhh he was just being a jerk. But he apologized and I told him if he stops being a butt head, I'll buy him a sonic burger when we visit and he agreed.

But I also told him if he puts me on speakerphone again, I will be one very. pissed. off. Krista. SRSLY! >:(

(He put myself and my husband on speakerphone, I kept trying to explain I couldn't hear him and he just kept talking louder until I hung up on him)

And what happened with you, moonshine??

All this crying and bawling and sadness around here...makes me think I'm gonna have to pack all y'all into a plane and ship you down to Disney World for a week.
