Lucky for me I found a guy who doesn't like kids. Or claims to. He's good with my nephew, but other than that, he actively tries to avoid kids in general. I don't mind kids, I just don't want them. It's more fun to wind them up and hand them back to their parents anyway

I feel weird invading this thread now. I haven't posted in so long, I feel like a total outsider.

My friend actually encourages me to sugar her kids up. Lets me make them cookies, cupcakes, buy them candy. Their dad is super organic and all natural so the kids don't get yummies unless I sneak them some treats

My mom is a nurse, and has actually started using this scale with some of her patients. Very selectively though. Some people just wouldn't appreciate it, or are in too much pain to find the funny in it. My phyisotherapist thinks it's hilarious.

this is one I can relate to! When they asked me when I was in labour what my pain level was at I said I was a 6 in the middle of a contraction and they assumed that I must not have been very far but when they checked I was ready to push... In my world a 10 is death and 9 is missing an arm so I'm not really that reliable when they ask about the pain scale!

Hey everyone! It's 2:30 am here, and I'm still up. The horrible back pain I reported a while ago is still horrible, but it's gone down from a 9 to about a 7 or 8. This might be TMI, but I have my period now and between the hormones and the pain, I've been very irritable. Gone from loving wife to a snappy btch in minutes while on Skype with my husband. The only thing that helped calm me down was watching One Direction videos. Gah...

My sister is the same way. My nephew is still too young for most sweets (almost 8 months), but his future will be full of cookies and other such spoils. She figures "if he doesn't end up as warped as the rest of us, we have all failed". He's such a happy kid. The only time I've ever seen him cry is when he was teething. I still don't want one of my own though!

Make sure you clean those things VERY thoroughly before using them, and only fill them with water that's been boiled sufficiently to sterilize it.

About a year ago, there were two reported deaths (one man and one woman) as a result of amoebas that managed to get into their neti pots, which then made their way up into their brains and killed them.

Other than that, I hope you feel better soon!
